By a practitioner from Dalian City in China

(Clearwisdom.net) I had a lot of feelings after studying Master's new article, "To the Australia Fa Conference." I would like to share some experiences that occurred during Fa study and cultivation with fellow practitioners. My objective is to encourage more and better experience-sharing by fellow practitioners regarding how we study the Fa well.

In September 2005, I luckily obtained the Fa after being introduced to it by practitioners guided by Master's benevolent salvation. Although I've only practiced for over one year, I try my best to catch up in Fa study according to Master's teachings. Under the influence of the strong energy field of the Fa in the human world, I try my best to keep up with Master's Fa-rectification progress.

When I first obtained the Fa, what I was facing were unread Dafa teachings that spanned over ten years, from Zhuan Falun to Master's latest articles. They were a whole stack when put together. The fellow practitioner who is also my colleague brought me one book after another from his home. It took me one and a half months to finish reading them. At that time there were many issues that I did not understand, and it seemed that my brain was overloaded. Words from Dafa books filled my brain, and they even appeared in my dreams. However, during the process of reading again and again, the Fa has opened up my wisdom. I came to understand a lot of things, and things became smoother for me. I got answers to a lot of questions that I was asking during my childhood, and I came to understand, "For what were the vast heavens and earth created?" ("Dafa Breaks the Illusion," Hong Yin) I could hardly contain the happiness in my heart.

As my parents were too poisoned by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), they could not understand my spending a large amount of time on studying the Fa. (My clarifying the truth to them in that short time was unsuccessful.) I felt puzzled by how to deal with this issue. With Master's hints, I found a good solution: download the electronic Dafa books from the Clearwisdom website to a hand-held gaming machine called PSP. This gaming machine is made by Sony. It has a high-resolution screen and background light, so it can also be used in total darkness at night. With the correct software for reading text files, Dafa books and articles can be installed onto it. When adjusting the background color to black and making the font white, it does not shine, and is very similar to an E-book. It is truly very convenient for studying the Fa.

Later, I found a suitable schedule for studying the Fa and practicing the exercises. I practice the sitting meditation from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. I go to sleep after sending forth righteous thoughts at 8:00 p.m., and I sleep very well. Normally, I wake up at about 11:00 p.m. and study the Fa till 6:00 a.m. I send forth righteous thoughts several times throughout the night. At work the next day, I feel very energetic. Thus, I have gained six hours each day for studying the Fa.

I think that in order to study the Fa well, it is not enough to just allocate time. Fa study does not just meant reading Zhuan Falun. Moreover, one cannot be attached to reading fast. One should strictly discipline oneself during everyday life and improve in true cultivation, melting oneself into the Fa when studying the Fa. Fa study facilitates comparing oneself to the Fa principles, and continuously finding one's attachments, bad thoughts and ideas which are difficult to find, even though they have existed for a long time. If we discover something, we should promptly catch it and be brave enough to face the attachment. It is not a problem to find the attachment; the key is not to let it pass by. One should (upon finding it) dig it out and eliminate it. Then we'll be able to understand the Fa, improve on the Fa principles and make progress rapidly.

Only by truly understanding the Fa will one truly obtain the Fa. Master told us, "If a person is completely in the Fa no one can touch him."("Teaching the Fa in San Francisco, 2005")

At the same time, we should do all of the three things well. It is incomplete if we miss any of the three things. Thus, the more we study the Fa, the stronger our righteous thoughts become. The more we study, the more steadfast we are. The more we study, the purer we become, and the less and less we are affected by human notions. We will feel more and more accomplished - like a particle harmonized in the Fa. This is a new life created by Dafa.
