Ms. Liu Hui and Ms. Su Weirong Suffering Persecution in a Brainwashing Center in Chengdu City

After being detained in prison and persecuted for four years, Ms. Liu Hui was taken to the Xinjin Brainwashing Center in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, where she continues to be persecuted. Ms. Su Weirong was abducted from her home and is being persecuted in the same brainwashing center.

Ms. Liu Hui used to be a very good teacher at Paotongshu Primary School in Chengdu City. When the evil party began to persecute Falun Dafa on July 20, 1999, Ms. Liu Hui went to Beijing to appeal for justice. As a result, she was beaten and detained. On her way back to Chengdu, Ms. Liu was illegally arrested by police while she was clarifying the truth, and she was sentenced to forced labor. At Nanmusi Women's Forced Labor Camp, Liu Hui suffered inhumane and cruel torture, and in July 2001 she almost died. The forced labor camp was afraid of taking responsibility for her terrible condition, so they released her, allowing Ms. Liu to seek medical care outside of the prison.

In 2002, Ms. Liu Hui was again arrested by police officers in Congzhou City and was sentenced to four years in prison. She was detained at Chuanxi Prison in Longquan City. Because she steadfastly believes in Falun Dafa and "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance," and refused to renounce the practice, she was cruelly tortured. In October 2006, Liu Hui should have been released, yet she was sent to Xinjin Brainwashing Center instead.

Ms. Su Weirong, in her sixties, is retired from the Public Transit Company in Chengdu City. Since she began to practice Falun Dafa, she experienced great changes both mentally and physically. All the diseases that she used to have disappeared.

Since July 20, 1999, the police, the local community bureau and the residential committee kept pressuring Ms. Su Weirong and her family, which caused them great psychological damage. In 2005, Ms. Su Weirong was taken away from her home and held at a brainwashing center located in the Jinjiang District for five months.

In October, 2006, Ms. Su Weirong went out to distribute truth-clarifying materials and somebody reported her to the police. Chen Guoqing and others from the Public Transit Security Section, together with the police from the Yixinqiao Police Station, broke into her house and illegally arrested her. Ms. Su is still being detained at the Xinjin Brainwashing Center. It is said that her blood pressure is very high and her life is in extreme danger.
