(Clearwisdom.net) On January 1, 2007, the Service Center for Quitting the Party in Hong Kong and other organizations held a parade to support the 17 million withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party. The Divine Land Marching Band from Taiwan, which was formed a few months ago, also came to perform.

Falun Gong practitioners holding a banner reading, "Falun Dafa" led the parade. The Divine Land Marching Band, consisting of 160 members, followed them. Many spectators were attracted to the band. They were happy to accept the truth-clarifying materials and copies of the "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" from Falun Gong practitioners and volunteers from the Service Center for Quitting the Party. Many people took photos and videos of the parade.

Mr. Zhong, the director of the band, said that this was the first time for the band to perform outside of Taiwan. Their purpose was to bring the beauty of Falun Dafa to the public in Hong Kong. Most members of the band are not professional musicians. They had been practicing for this parade for three months. Falun Gong practitioners and other attendees held many banners to spread Falun Dafa and expose the CCP's brutality. The attendees also called for support for Mr. Gao Zhisheng, who is being persecuted by the CCP for supporting Falun Gong. Practitioners also performed Tang drum and Celestial Maiden dances. The parade started at 12, and passed through the busiest area in Kowloon. Two hours later, the parade ended at Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry Pier. Since there were many tourists at Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry Pier, the band performed for them too.

Those are the words of David Kilgour, the independent investigator and former member of the Canadian government, who with his colleague David Matas compiled a report on illegal organ seizures from prisoners of conscience in China, namely from the practitioners of Falun Gong.

On Thursday, November 16th, David Kilgour reported his findings in the Czech Parliament, where a seminar about large-scale forced organ harvesting from prisoners of conscience in China was held under the auspices of MP Mrs Catherine Jacques. Mr. Jan Ruml, the formal Vice-chair of the Czech Senate, also spoke at the seminar on behalf of a Czech NGO, The Olympic Watch, and strongly condemned organ harvesting.

"It is a new and so far unseen form of evil, said Mr Kilgour about the appalling practice of organ harvesting from living people which is taking place in detention centers, labour camps and even hospitals across China with the tacit consent of the state administration.

"We probed in 18 different items of evidence," said Mr Kilgour at the seminar. Since June he and Mr. Matas have collected 10 more items of evidence and are working to release an additional report by the end of year.

Part of the new evidence is testimony of a Falun Gong female adherent who was forced in a labor camp to undergo repeated large-scale medical tests, but finally her card was marked as "unsuitable" by the doctors because of her poor health from prolonged physical torture.

"These medical tests were applied only to Falun Gong prisoners every three months and are extremely suspicious," said Kilgour. "There is no reason for these tests, and it is unthinkable that the Chinese regime would care for these prisoners who are daily brutally tortured in the camps where no one cares whether they live or die."

The Kilgour & Matas report cites telephone conversations with Chinese doctors who readily admitted having a large source of "living organs" from those who practice Falun Gong.

Among the attendees were also Mrs Veronika Stromsikova the Director of the Human Rights Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and her colleague. Her department has been particularly active in lobbying the European Parliament and calling for investigation into the human rights abuses by the Chinese communist government. The leader of the Green Party, Mr Martin Bursik, engaged the speakers in discussion and together with leading Czech sinologist, Dr Vera Lamackova, talked about points of concern. Several NGOs and human rights speakers also attended. Czech TV filmed the seminar and a journalist from the Internet daily made a recording for the web podcast.

One of points made was that Falun Gong was at first glorified by the communist regime in 1992 for its health benefits, but since 1999, when government statistics showed it had several million more adherents than the Communist Party, it's adherents have, according to the resolution of the European Parliament, been brutally persecuted.

A Press Conference at the Czech Parliament followed, and Mr David Kilgour was joined by the spokeswoman of Amnesty International in the Czech Republic, Miss Eva Dobrovolna, who called for further investigation into organ harvesting in China.

The Czech media attended with Czech TV filming the Press Conference and three Czech radio journalists recording and asking questions. International media NTDTV and The Epoch Times newspaper also came.

That evening Mr. Kilgour was invited by Czech TV to speak about his report on the main news analysis program Czech24. Mr Kilgour said that under such conditions of severe human rights abuses amounting to genocide against Falun Gong practitioners in China, holding the next Olympic Games in Beijing would be unthinkable. He appealed to all Czech people to ask their Government to help stop these atrocities as quickly as possible.

(Clearwisdom.net) Due to her beliefs in "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" and because she clarified the facts about Falun Gong, Ms. Zhao Wenlan, a 68 year-old practitioner from Zhangbei County, Hebei Province, has been arrested and illegally detained on multiple occasions over the past seven years. She was sentenced to 10 years in prison in 2004 and is currently detained at Shijiazhuang Women's Prison.

On July 20, 1999, Zhao Wenlan went to Beijing to appeal when Jiang Zemin and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started persecuting Falun Gong. However, she was stopped mid-way to her destination and deported to the detention center in her hometown by local police. The detention center extorted 260 yuan from her.

On October 31 of the same year, the local police arrested her again without giving any reason. Her home was searched and her belongings, including Teacher Li Hongzhi's portrait, video and audio tapes of Teacher Li's lectures as well as Dafa books, were taken away. Zhao Wenlan was allowed to go home on February 3, 2000 while waiting for the court trial. Two days later, Li Shanghong from the Politics and Security Department and his staff went to her home to harass her. In order to avoid further harassment, she left her home and went to her daughter's residence. On February 18, she went to Beijing to clarify the truth about Falun Gong again and was arrested by Beijing police. She was brought back by local police the next day and detained at the detention center. On the same night, the local police extorted 2,000 yuan from her family, claiming that it was to cover the expenses of bringing Zhao Wenlan back to her hometown.

As there were four other practitioners from Zhangbei County who followed Zhao Wenlan to Beijing, Li Shanghong, Head of the Politics and Security Department of the Police Station, accused Ms. Zhao of instigating the group to appeal. He swore at Zhao and beat her, knocking out one of her teeth with his fist. It was winter time. Li Shanghong forced Zhao Wenlan to get down on her knees on the cold cement floor and shocked her with an electric baton for over one hour. Her face and mouth were burned from the shocks. Pus dripped from the wounds, and her mouth was swollen, preventing her from eating. Zhao Wenlan was also tortured with the handcuffed behind the back method for nine days.

In the handcuffed behind the back torture method, the victim's shoulders are pulled down heavily by handcuffs at the back. After a while, the handcuffs cut into the flesh and the hands turn purple. It is very painful, and the victim cannot perform daily functions, nor are they able to sleep. While Zhao Wenlan was back-cuffed, she was still forced to attend military training, and her daily meal consisted of rough corn flour buns. To protest the prolonged detention, Zhao Wenlan went on a hunger strike and she was sent to the county hospital by former deputy director of the local police station, Guo Shili and his staff to be force-fed. The rubber tube for force feeding was not taken out afterwards. Instead, it was left in her nose to be used the next day while she was still handcuffed. The pain was inconceivable.

On April 29, 2000, the Forced Labor "Re-education" Management Committee of Zhangjiakou City illegally sentenced Zhao Wenlan to two years in a forced labor camp. In October of the same year, she was allowed to go home on bail, awaiting the court trial. In exchange for allowing Ms. Zhao to go home, Li Dianxian, former Party Secretary of Politics and Law, the county 610 Office, and the local police together extorted 7000 yuan from Zhao Wenlan, but her family could only afford 1,000 yuan. Her family paid the money but received no receipts. After Zhao Wenlan went home, Li Shanghong from the Department of Politics and Security, his staff and people from the street committee monitored her and harassed her from time to time.

In order to avoid further persecution, Zhao Wenlan left her home for her daughter's place. Li Shanghong and his staff went to search for her at her daughter's residence and all her relatives' homes. They tried to arrest her. The last time they went to her daughter's home, they destroyed the door, broke in and arrested her son-in-law because Zhao Wenlan was not home. Her son-in-law was illegally detained for several days and released after the family paid some money. Afterwards, her daughter and her son-in-law were harassed from time to time so that they could not go home and continue their jobs as taxi drivers. They had to leave their home, and Zhao Wenlan was forced into a homeless situation once again.

Zhao Wenlan later worked as a street vendor, selling everyday goods to support herself. In July 2002, she was reported to the police by Geng Rui while she was clarifying the truth about Falun Gong to her customers. Li Shanghong and his staff arrested her and sent her to the police station. Zhao Wenlan went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution but was force-fed for 11 to 12 days by Guo Shilin, former deputy director of the police station, Fan Yanbing, the director of the detention center, and several armed policemen. Zhao Wenlan suffered from high blood pressure and symptoms of heart disease. She was on the brink of death. The police were afraid of being responsible for her death, so they told Zhao Wenlan's family to take her home. This time, she had been illegally detained for over 40 days.

After returning home, Zhao Wenlan and her family were harassed very often. On August 12 of the same year, Jiang Chuan and Yuan Ping from the Zhangbei County Court went to her home to deliver a copy of a legal document informing her of an illegal court trial and possible sentence.

On August 13, Li Shanghong, Sun Baolin, Liu Yanhui and others from the Department of Politics and Security went to Zhao Wenlan's home to harass her again. She had to leave her home once more during the Moon Festival of 2002. Since then, she lived in Dongyaozi, a suburban area of Zhangjiakou City. On May 19, 2003, the policemen arrested Zhao Wenlan and detained her at the Qiaodong District Police Station of Zhangjiakou City, claiming that they were checking people's I.D. in that area. Wang Chunli, the director of the police station took 500 yuan from Zhao Wenlan, a bank book worth 1,170 yuan, and her clothes and bedding. He never returned them to her.

Later, Zhao Wenlan was transferred to Zhangjiakou Detention Center. Afraid of being responsible for her death, the police allowed her to go home on bail to wait for the court trial which was to take place on June 19, 2003. They told her family to take her home.

Staff from the People's Court of Zhangjiakou City, Zhangbei County Police Station and the local court went to Zhao Wenlan's home to harass her many times after she had returned home. Later, they hired a taxi to arrest Zhao Wenlan again. On August 12, they refused her bail and once again, detained her at Zhangjiakou City Detention Center.

As her health was very poor, Zhao Wenlan appeared in court with the help of others. She was illegally sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment by the People's Court of Zhangjiakou City on March 15, 2004. Later she was sent to Mancheng Prison in Baoding City, Hebei Province. The prison refused to accept her because she was too old and her health was poor. However, the police from Zhangjiakou forced the prison to accept her. Then they framed additional so-called "evidence" to worsen the persecution towards Zhao Wenlan in the Mancheng Prison in Baoding City.

In early 2006, Zhao Wenlan was transferred to Shijiazhuang Women's Prison. There is no personal freedom at all and the prisoners are forced to work hard every day, packing chopsticks or sewing buttons on shirts. Zhao Wenlan's body has been tortured to the point that she is now very weak and is suffering from high blood pressure. Lately, at the strong request of her family, the prison stopped forcing Zhao Wenlan to work. However, they continue to force-feed her with unknown medicines. Family visits have been kept under police watch.

There are about 300 Dafa practitioners currently held in the No. 2 (Wangcun) Forced Labor Camp in Wangcun Town, Zibo City, Shandong Province. The guards at the camp routinely use inhuman measures in their attempts to force practitioners to give up their beliefs.

The guards tortured practitioner Liu Quanyi by shocking him with electric batons. They kept him handcuffed for five days and nights. The guards ordered him to sit on a hard stool or stand for seventeen to eighteen hours each day. When Mr. Liu refused to give up Dafa, they transferred him to the No. 8 Division. Zheng Wanxin, head guard of the division, handcuffed him for eleven straight days and nights and then put him in solitary confinement. The guards also forced him to sit on a stool the entire time he was in isolation. One of the guards told him, "If you refuse to be 'transformed,' we will send you to the Qilu Hospital to have your organs harvested."

Jing Xusheng, head guard of the No. 7 Division, and some guards from the Education Section used several electric batons to shock practitioner Liu Ruping on the mouth, feet, and inner sides of his legs simultaneously. Both of Mr. Liu's feet were blistered and terribly burned.

Four or five guards in the No. 7 Division beat practitioner Liang Chunyong, forcing him to sit or stand for seventeen to eighteen hours each day.

The guards twisted practitioner Wu Fengyi's arms behind his back and handcuffed him, preventing him from eating. They then force-fed him with a mixture of harmful drugs and later sent him to Basan Hospital. Labor camp guard Song Nan ordered inmates to viciously beat Mr. Wu and threatened him, saying, "As long as you're alive, you won't be allowed to leave the labor camp." Mr. Wu still refused to give up Dafa. They then sent him to a mental hospital, but he was later released.

A large number of practitioners have died or become permanently disabled as a result of the inhuman torture in the No. 2 Forced Labor Camp in Shandong Province.

(Clearwisdom.net) The notorious Women's Forced Labor Camp in Shanxi Province is located in the north suburban area of Xian City. Practitioners from all over the province have been brutally persecuted since the first practitioner was illegally detained there over seven years ago, in October 1999. Director Zhang Zhuoqin, Prosecutor Secretary Zhao Xiaoyang and Education Counseler Li Zhen have expended great effort in directing evil guards to follow the gang of Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan (Communist Party National leaders) in using the evil tools learned from Masanjia Forced Labor Camp to torture practitioners.

The first floor of the North Building of the Women's Forced Labor Camp in Shanxi Province is the so-called "Education Team," which is the dark room used to transform practitioners. The second floor is the second team, and the third floor is the third team. These two teams mainly focus on forced labor. People have to work from 7:30 a.m. till 2 a.m. or 3 a.m.. Extending the forced labor to finish tasks is the main torture tool.

To reach the goal of "transforming" practitioners, under orders from Zhang Zhuqing and Zhao Xiaoyang, the education team, led by Li Zhen, apply all kinds of torture, threats and beating. They also feign kindness and deceive practitioners. Practitioner Ms. Xu Mingxia refused to be "transformed." She was cuffed in the hallway for 59 days during the cold winter.

Practitioner Ms. Zhang Xiuying, in her 60's, refused to hand copy the so-called "regulations." Li Zhen hit her on her mouth with his fist. Her mouth was swollen for a long time. Later, both of her wrists were cuffed in the hallway and she was forbidden to use the bathroom.

Practitioner Zhou Yating, from Hu County, refused to be "transformed." Evil guards Li Zhen and Bai Xiao called her into the office and pinched her face, shoulders and back with 2.5 inch needles, which were used to sew mats. After the wounds healed, there were many round spots. Drug addict Zhang Fan, from Yulin, took a leather belt and tightened it around Zhou Yating's neck while she was sound sleeping. Zhou awakened and shouted for help, which saved her life. It is very common to be beaten or cursed daily. When Ms. Zhou Yating held a hunger strike to protest, she was violently force-fed multiple times.

Practitioner Yu Qinzhen, from Zhousi, is in her 60's. She refused to be "transformed," thus she was locked up. She was not allowed to wash or go to the bathroom. After a long time, her hair stuck together onto her bed sheets and her clothes started to smell. She refused to have her picture taken. The drug addicts pulled her hair and pushed her down with force. Anyone could beat or curse her.

Practitioner Fan Shuilain from Fufeng was determined to resist "transformation" based on her solid faith in Dafa. Evil guards specified that those who were to be "transformed" be given a white drug powder, which was added into their meal bowls. After eating lots of white powder, one will become depressed.

Practitioner Ms. Liu Jin, from Xian, used to be a College English teacher. She was determined in cultivation and righteously criticized the so-called "transformation." She was violently beaten. At the beginning, she was beaten after lunch. Later, they beat her violently, bruising her all over her body. After these attacks, they did not allow her to sit. They punished her by forcing her to stand, beating and cursing her at will.

Practitioner Wang Xinlian, from Hanzhong, is in her 60's. Evil guards always wanted to "transform" her. Team leader Wang Li forced her to read books attacking Dafa. She refused, and wrote "Falun Dafa is good!" on the front page of the book. She was cuffed to the leg of a bed for 7 days. She was not allowed to use the bathroom or sit on any benches.

Practitioner Ms. Luo Changyun, from Ankang, is a high school English Teacher. In November 2005, Li Zhen tried to "transform" her with force. When an inspection group from outside the labor camp stopped by, Ms. Luo shouted "Excuse me!" and passed from a window the appeal letter she wrote. Guard Li Zhen was outraged and insisted in "transforming" her. They asked her husband and older sister to come from Ankang. Once they met, they brought out divorce papers and gave Ms. Luo an ultimatum between "transforming" or getting divorced. She was very determined that she would cultivate Dafa under any circumstance and refused to be "transformed." There was nothing Li Zhen could do.

On February 12, 2004, the labor camp transfered all practitioners who refused to be "transformed" into single rooms on the second floor of the South Building, and tried to forcibly "transform" them. After more than 10 days, and trying all kinds of approaches, they still could not shake the faith of practitioners. They locked up practitioner Wei Xinrong, in her 30's, a former official of Mian County Food Department, downstairs for more than one month. No matter how they threatened or forced her, Wei refused to be "transformed." Finally, the labor camp sent two guards, together with the team leader Liu Sijia. They sent Wei Xinrong to Dayanta Mental Hospital and gave her an injection of unknown drugs. Afterwards, for several days, she became numb and sleepy.

Ms. Wei Xinrong was tortured until she was only skin and bones and she could not walk evenly. She was still forced to do lots of work. Even drug addicts said that she looked like a different person from when she first came.

In the morning of December 19, 2006, practitioner Ms. Dong Shulan and her family from Jilin City went to Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City to visit Ms. Dong's daughter Ms. Liu Hongixa. In the middle of a family meal, Lian Guangri, Head of Administration at the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp, tricked Ms. Dong Shulan into going downstairs with him. He then handcuffed and abducted her. Ms. Dong Shulan is now being held at the No. 3 Criminal Police Division of Chuanying Police Subbureau in Jilin City.

Zhang Aimin, Head of the Fushun National Security Section, collaborated with Zhang Jianhua, Head of the Bashuihe Township Police Sub-bureau in abducting practitioner Mr. Xun Changping and others on December 5, 2006. The practitioners are now being held at the brainwashing center of the Baishan City Police Academy.

After being detained in Fusong County, Mr. Xun Changping began to suffer from serious sicknesses. However, he was still sent to a forced labor camp for further persecution.

In the morning of December 20, 2006, Guo Junlin and three others from the Huanan County National Security Section abducted local practitioner Mr. Guo Renai from his home. Now Mr. Guo, a primary school teacher, is being held at the Detention Center of Huanan Forestry Bureau.

On December 12, 2006, the Dalianhe Township Falun Gong materials processing site in Yilan County was sabotaged. Mr. Guo Fengqiang, Mr. Xun Ren, Ms. Wu Shulian and a practitioner with the surname of Ma were arrested. Seven printers, a notebook, desktop computers, cash and a large amount of food was confiscated.

Practitioner Ms. Yu Guizhi, 67 years old, is a practitioner from Shenyang City. She was arrested by policemen from Huanghai Police Sub-station, Yuhong District on December 21. After having a medical checkup at the city hospital, her whereabouts are now unknown.

On December 8, 2006, practitioner Mr. Li Wei from Changchun City was abducted by police on Ziyou Boulevard, Changchun City and then sent to the Changchun City No. 2 Detention Center. Mr. Li went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. On December 14 he was sent to the Changchun Police Hospital for further persecution.

Practitioner Mr. Xun Shibin from Changchun was abducted by police from Ziyou Boulevard on December 8, 2006 and sent to Changchun No. 2 Detention Center. Since he did not pass the medical check up, the detention center refused to take him in. The police released him only after extorting 5,000 yuan from his family, but Mr. Xun was still forced to serve one year forced labor outside the forced labor camp.

Zhao Jinshu, Deputy Head of the Mudanjiang Police Bureau, gathered together policemen and the head of the local Residence Committee on December 12, 2006. Together, they ransacked practitioners' homes and confiscated computers, tape recorders, Falun Dafa books and Falun Dafa materials. They also abducted 26 practitioners.

Practitioner Ms. Zhou Jing from Dongcheng District was tailed and abducted by Guo Wei and policemen from Andingmenwai Police Sub-station, Dongcheng District. She was sentenced to two years of imprisonment.

Practitioner Mr. Sun Baoyuan from Xunjiazhuang Village, Wucheng Township, Wucheng County was abducted from his home on the morning of December 1, 2006. Now he is being held at Wucheng County Detention Center.

Practitioner Mr. Li Weidong has been detained by the 610 Office 6 times since July 20, 1999. His detention lasted more than 11 months and he was extorted 6,800 yuan.

During Mr. Li Weidong's detention the evil doers stripped off his clothes and beat him up with rubber batons and leather belts until his body was covered with cuts and bruises. At the Nanma Brainwashing Center Mr. Li was punched and kicked. He was clubbed down and lost consciousness. After he come to, he was cuffed to a big board and not allowed to go to the toilet.

Practitioner Ms. Zhang Shufang from Lintun Village, Lindun Township, Zhuozhou City, Baoding Prefecture was abducted to Zhuozhou Detention Center from home by the Zhuozhou City National Security Division without any reason.

Practitioner Ms. Lu Juanmei was reported when producing truth clarification materials. On December 14, 2006, she was abducted to Jinyun County Detention Center.

Practitioner Ms. Gao Fenglan from Hexi District, Tianjin City was reported while clarifying the truth in the afternoon of December 19, 2006. She was abducted by the "110 Policemen" and is now being held at the Hexi District Detention Center.

On the morning of December 19, 2006, the Bohai Petroleum Corporation abducted at least 12 practitioners. At that time, perpetrators beat up the practitioners and confiscated computers, printers and some other personal items from their homes.

Ms. Li Yanxia's home was besieged by the police, so she was forced to jump out of the window of the fifth floor and leave the residential courtyard of the petroleum corporation. Mr. Wang Junyao also escaped from the clutches of the evil doers. The whereabouts of Ms. Ding Youling, Ms. Zhang Huizheng, Ms. Chen Ruihua and Mr. Zhang Wensheng are not immediately known.

Ms Shang Suyun, 54 years old, lives at No. 11 Building, Pingguoyuan Subway, Shijingshan District. She was abducted by policemen from the local police sub-station. Her whereabouts are still unknown.

Practitioner Ms. Zhang Shufen from Hebei Township, Fangshan District, Beijing was abducted by Wang Xiongying, Head of the Hebei Township Police Sub-station, while handing out truth-clarification materials. On the following day she was transferred to Fangshan Police Sub-bureau, Beijing City.

On December 4, 2006, practitioners Ms. Wang Renxiang and Mr. Tang Gemei from Pingjiang were reported while clarifying the truth to two youths at Yuetian, Yueyang City. The policemen from the Yuetian Police Sub-station took them into custody and beat them up. Now they are being held at the Yueyang Detention Center.

In September 2006, practitioner Ms Wang Xiuying, 65 years old, from Group 6, Gaohe Village, Yang'an Township, Qinglai City in Sichuan Province, was arrested by the Qingyang District Police Sub-station of Chengdu City while clarifying the truth. Now she is detained at Qinglai City.

In May 2006, Mr. Yao Nanping went to his former work place to persuade Zhang Jianxiong to quit the Chinese Communist Party and gave him a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. On the following day, Zhang Jianxiong reported to the police. On June 1, Yuan Hua and others from the No. 1 Section of the Nanning Railway Police Bureau forcefully took the key from Mr. Yao and ransacked his house before abducting him. Mr. Yao Nanping was detained at the Nanning Railway Detention Center. On September 28, the Nanning Railway Transportation Court held a hearing and on October 11 the court sentenced Mr. Yao to five years in prison.

On December 20, 2006, four policemen from Liangzhou District Police Sub-bureau in Wuwei City, Gansu Province abducted Ms. Ma Yulan.

Ms. Lu Shulan, over 50 years old, from Shuiyuan Township, Yongchang County, Jinchang City, Gansu Province, was abducted by the local police around November 2006. She is now being held at the Yongchang County Detention Center.

On October 18, 2006, practitioner Mr. Wu Zongrong was abducted to Langshan Detention Center in Jiangjin City. Now he is facing an illegal trial.

Mr. Lin Gengzong, a teacher from Danyang High School in Shantou City, has been reported by the student's parents for clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa to the students. Afterwards, he was abducted.

Mr. Wang Yuchao, 30 years old, is from Nanhuatang Township, Yunxian County. He was sentenced to five years in prison for going to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa in December, 2000 and is now being held at Qinduankou Prison.

Practitioner Ms. Hu Youying, 36 years old, from Yujiatou, Wuchang District, Wuhan City was illegally arrested by the 610 Office on December 10, 2003. She was held at the No. 1 Detention Center for more than a year before being transferred to the women's prison where she was held for another year. In the early morning of December 9, 2006 her family went to pick her up. However, the 610 Office and the local resident Committee abducted her before they arrived and detained her at the Yangyuan Brainwashing Center for further persecution. She still has not been released.

Practitioner Ms. Xu Shulan from Cixian County, Handan City was reported by the villagers who did not know the truth of Falun Dafa while handing out truth-clarification materials at Tongye Township, Anyang County, Henan Province. She was abducted by the Tongye Township Police Sub-station and is now being held at Anyang County Detention Center.

On October 15, 2001, Ms. Kong Xianhua and four Falun Dafa practitioners from Suihua City were sent to the Shuanghe Forced Labor Camp in Qiqihar City. Ms. Kong refused to be "transformed". The guards put her in solitary confinement and forced her to sit on an iron chair for three days. In order to protest the persecution, she once tried to escape but she was taken back when she just got to the entrance gate. She was beaten by many male guards, which left her with many cuts and bruises. Because she recited Master's article "The Chill of Autumn Winds" and righteous thoughts formulas, she was slapped on the face by female guards. The guards also often handcuffed her and injected unknown drugs into her body. Ms. Kong Xianhua collapsed mentally due to the severe persecution.

On December 24, 2006, Dafa practitioner Mr. Cheng Lianju from Harbin City and his girlfriend went to the Harbin Train Station to see his girlfriend's younger sister off. Truth-clarification materials were found in her luggage. Subsequently, the three of them were arrested by the Harbin Railway Police Department and sent to the detention center of the Harbin Railway Bureau.

Around December 14, 2006, the Changge Court intended to sentence Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Qingchen, who has been illegally detained by the policemen of Changge City. However, their plot failed.

An elderly woman Dafa practitioner went to Qitaihe from Boli County for the birthday party of one of her relatives. She was reported to the police for clarifying the truth to people. Now she is detained in the Qitaihe Administration Detention Center.

On November 30, 2006, Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Wenxiu from Chaoyang District, Beijing was arrested by the police when she distributed truth-clarification materials. Now, she is detained in the Chaoyang Detention Center.

On December 19, policemen from the Liquan County Police Department in Xianyang City arrested Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhaoyang at her home.

Around 1 p.m. on December 23, 2006, Dafa practitioners Ms. Gan Yufang and Ms. Yang Xiuying went to rural areas to distribute truth-clarification materials about Falun Dafa and the Nine Commentaries, counseling the world's people on withdrawing from the CCP and its related organizations. They were arrested by more than ten policemen and plainclothes policemen.

Around noon on December 21, 2006, 66-year-old Dafa practitioner Ms. Sun Guifang from Binmaying Village, Shidui Town, Anqiu City, was arrested at her home by the police from Anqiu City. Currently she is detained in the Anqiu City Detention Center.

On December 7, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Xiao Suqing from Baiyun District, Guangzhou City, in her sixties, was arrested when she clarified the truth to people in Sanyuanli, Baiyun District. That night, the police from the Jingtai Street Police Station of Baiyun District searched her home, taking all of the Dafa books and truth-clarification materials. Later on, Ms. Xiao was sent to the Public Security Detention Center of Baiyun District and detained for 15 days. On December 22, Ms. Xiao was sent to the Chatou Brainwashing Class in Guangzhou City.

On the night of December 20, 2006, in front of the building where Ms. Wei Xiurong lives in Xisi District, Dongying City, four or five plainclothes policemen handcuffed Ms. Wei Xiurong's hands behind her back and arrested her. Now, she is detained in a brainwashing class. Since her arrest, Ms. Wei has had problems eating and now throws everything up. She is injured both physically and psychologically.

On the afternoon of December 12, 2006, at Ms. Wang Shufang's home in Sanhe Village, Huilongguan, Changping District, Wang Shufang and six other Dafa practitioners were arrested by the police. Now, it is known that Ms. Wang Shurong, Ms. Sun Lanfen, Ms. Lao Li, Mr. Li Shiming and Ms. Wang Qin are illegally detained in the Changping Detention Center.

The Ningxia Provincial 610 Office and the police department illegally detained five Dafa practitioners from Yinchuan City in the Tongxin County Detention Center in Ningxia Province. They are Mr. Wang Jianguo, Ms. Si Yurong and her husband, Ms. Chen Xueyin and her husband.

On the morning of October 25, 2006, Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Lei and her sister Ms. Wang Yan from Changchun City were arrested by the police near the post office at the train station. At the same time, Ms. Wang Lei's husband was also arrested. The police also intended to arrest her mother, Ms. He Meirong, but they failed. Ms. He Meirong has been forced to become homeless in order to avoid being arrested at home.

On the night of December 24, 2006, Dafa practitioner Ms. Ji was arrested by the police while she was distributing truth-clarification materials. On the next day, the police arrested five other Dafa practitioners and illegally searched their homes.

Around 3 p.m. on December 19, 2006, Dafa practitioner Mr. Cui Yuqing from Xinbin County, Fushun City, was arrested by the Nanzamu 610 Office and the Xinbin County Police Department. He was sent to the Luotaishan Village Brainwashing Center.

Dafa practitioner Ms. Yao Yuying from Yantai City and another fellow practitioner whose name is unknown were arrested when they distributed truth-clarification materials in Laishan. Now, they are detained at the Fushan Detention Center.

In July 2006, Dafa practitioner Ms. Chi Guilian clarified the truth to people in Biguo Market. She was illegally arrested by Jin Gangyan and later detained in the Linglong Brainwashing Center in Zhaoyuan City. Recently, her relatives went to visit her and were told that Ms. Chi was not in the center. Her relatives tried to find her whereabouts, but her whereabouts are still unknown.

Since the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) started the persecution of Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, Ms. Chi Guilian was repeatedly arrested and her home was searched many times, which caused her daughter to suffer a mental collapse.

Ms. Guang Yuai, in her sixties, is a Falun Dafa practitioner from Enping City. On November 17, 2006, she was arrested when she went out to post truth-clarification materials. She was detained in the Enping City Detention Center. Recently, it was learned that the Enping City 610 Office and the local police department sentenced Ms. Guan Yueai to one and a half years of forced labor.

Most of these statements have come from Falun Dafa practitioners in China who wished to express regret that, in the face of physical torture and brainwashing, they had signed documents renouncing Dafa and guaranteeing not to practice again. (Clearwisdom.net) The most basic social organizational unit in Mainland China under the direct control of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is the Neighborhood Committee. It is set up in every street and small alley.

By reviewing the neighborhood committee's history, one can discover that this odd and annoying organization is closely attached to the CCP. The neighborhood committees are always involved in each and every evil, Party-created national disaster. The committee wears the mask of "legitimacy" and "caring," when it is actually an evil agency. It spies on and monitors every resident's family and their personal life, trying to even get into their thoughts; it enforces and implements all anti-humanitarian and anti-human rights policies, down to society's smallest unit. It acts as the evil party's long-reaching hand, extending into people's lives.

After the CCP took over the government, in order to further control people's thoughts, it set up the so-called Neighborhood Committee in the 1950s. Its members were one or two retired individuals whom the Party trusted--primarily women. They were given a one or two-room office. These trustees acted as mediators of domestic or neighborhood conflicts, going from family to family, learning each household's situation and opinions. They would set up some families as monitoring targets and report the collected information to the Party's upper level administration department. They also arranged for a set of families to monitor another set of families, to build suspicion between these families, thus enabling them to collect more private information. During the "three-anti's," the "five-anti's," "the anti-right" and the "Great Leap Forward" political movements, the CCP Committee secretaries at various levels working for the Party personally directed the neighborhood committee's work, issued the Party's instructions, placed certain families under even stricter monitoring, and frequently escalated harassment by going into these families' homes. Those residents who had originally thought the neighborhood committee would truly help people, gradually realized the real face of it. They all said that the old women from the neighborhood committee were there to get people in trouble.

In the 60s, with the Party's vigorous support, the neighborhood committee became even more aggressive, publicly hanging up "So-and-so area Neighborhood-Committee" signs and in the meantime strengthening the evil Party's control. They arranged for a retired worker or a retired soldier from the armed services as the appointed committee head. The number of members also expanded to three or four people who were assigned tasks according to thought, women's issues, mediation and other issues. They set up individual responsibilities and centralized leadership, strictly monitoring each family household and each individual.

During the "Big Starvation" of the 60s, the "Four Clean-ups," and the "Great Cultural Revolution" created by the CCP, as a means of more stringent control over the people, it declared that the neighborhood committee was a grassroots-level leadership organization with a certain administrative authority. This laid down further ground rules for regulations against human rights. From that time on, the CCP hooked up telephones for the committees, and sent them official documents and newspapers. Whenever these committee pawns discovered anything they believed "not safe," they could get an immediate phone line to the police, and in just a few moments agents from the police station would arrive.

In the 70s, the CCP summarized a set of torture methods from the chaotic "Cultural Revolution." It put these virulent methods in effect through the neighborhood committee's administration, governed the neighborhood by registering each resident in the registration book, synchronized with the one in the local police station. Whoever they thought belonged to an "alien element," a "dangerous element," or someone who did not follow their decrees, they would contact the local police, who would send such people for brainwashing. They even put people directly into forced labor camps through "the reform-through-labor" provisions. This is the Party's acclaimed, so-called intimate organization -- the Neighborhood Committee, which should actually be called The Committee of Evil.

The persecution of citizens during the students' movement at the end of the 80s caused thousands of families to lose family members, and the wound is still unable to heal. The CCP again developed a further utilization of the neighborhood committee. The neighborhood committees oversaw the monitoring of those parents who lost their offspring in the movement. They are still doing this monitoring, even now. They know these families' circumstances and their thinking quite well. At the slightest sign of any "trouble," the neighborhood committee directly reports it to the Party. This is no doubt heaping additional misfortune on these suffering families. The neighborhood committee was given instructions and authority from the Party to question those college faculty members who had some involvement with the democracy movement of 1989. The committee acted in the evil role of harassing and harming the people.

In the 90s, the neighborhood committee evolved into an accomplice organization, linking the police station, the patrol security guard office and the city law enforcement office. The Party provided advanced communication equipment for the neighborhood committee and provided three to five police cars of various kinds. By recruiting PhD, graduate students and undergraduate students to join the committee, the rulers are attempting to give dignity and status to this organization. Their tactics for harming people became more covert and sophisticated. For example, one neighborhood committee colluded with the city administration to collect so-called protection money from small merchants. When they meet with protests, the committee members have the support of an organized crime group. People may feel indignant but they dare not speak out. From another point of view, Chinese residents experienced most personally the Party's cruelty at the hands of the neighborhood committee's corrupt conduct; thus they experienced the deepest ingrained evil nature of the Party.

In one incident in particular, the neighborhood committee fully manifested its role as a low-life, evildoing organization. That was on July 20, 1999 when the Party made use of a fabricated story, defaming, slandering and discriminating against Falun Gong and launched the most brutal persecution. Falun Gong had merely introduced the principles of Truth-Compassion-Forbearance to people. But the neighborhood committee began keeping books, recording all the practitioners in its area. They kept track of practitioners for a long time, tailed them closely, tapped their telephones, participated in the search of practitioners' homes, and even assisted with illegal arrests, sending people to forced labor camps, handing out unlawful criminal sentences, and other despicable acts. The neighborhood committee spread the lies about Falun Dafa in the immediate area, misleading the residents into cooperating with their persecution.

Having experienced deeply grievous experiences for over fifty years, people are now gradually re-examining the Party's theory of deceit and also awakening to the functions of one of the Party's elements -- the neighborhood committee. Dafa practitioners' truth clarification, in particular, has clearly exposed the Party's evil nature. Looking back on either one's own or another family's years of painful experiences at the hands of the CCP makes one thing explicitly clear -- the CCP has committed countless crimes during its numerous political movements, even going so far as to dare to go against Dafa, the universal Law. The Party's extremely arrogant, egocentric and metamorphic evil specter will be surely eliminated and all its accomplices will be heavily punished!

When the company leader saw Song Changjiang he admonished him, "Do you know what you are doing? You are doing evil! Don't you know? Doing evil! What is not good about Falun Gong? You persecute them so harshly. Is any one of those practitioners not a good person? Those who do bad things are all people like you!"

Song Changjiang just listened silently and said nothing.

The world's people are awakening and resisting the evil. Those who do bad things are also aware that what they are doing is not right and they fear exposure.

(Clearwisdom.net) As it is well known, what the evildoing CCP in China fears most is the universal law of Falun Dafa. They have spent all their financial and manpower resources and expected to destroy Falun Gong within three months. Our Dafa messages, though, remained on the wall of the common hallway in our residential buildings for seven years and are still shining.

During the CCP's most vicious period of persecuting Falun Gong, our study group was not afraid of the persecution and has firmly believed in Master and Dafa. We traveled the path of Fa rectification to rescue people. We tried all the possible ways every day to post Dafa flyers on trees, walls, phone booths, on utility poles, in bicycle baskets and in our apartment hallways. We discovered a while back that the Dafa signs in our residential hallway stayed up the longest, untouched by rain or wind, and the color of the flyers never faded.

Most of our Dafa practitioners in the group live in government officials' residential compounds. There are many buildings, with many people coming and going daily, especially during the holiday season. The building hallway is the only place for people to enter and exit. We thought of utilizing this hallway to validate Dafa and rescue people.

We started with our own hallway and posted "Falun Gong is Good" and "Falun Gong is the righteous Law" in obvious places. But they did not last long. The posters were destroyed after a few days, and we were hurt. We thought about painting the messages on the wall, so we painted them in blue and the result was great. It was eye-catching and was also beautiful and they were there for a long time. People would see them when they arrived and would respect them.

Later on, we all went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, and as a result were detained. After we returned we saw the blue Dafa messages had been painted over in red. My husband was afraid of me being arrested again and asked me not to paint them again. He said, "Your painting such messages in our building would indicate that a Dafa practitioner lives in this building." Some of the other practitioners had the same concern and suggested we paint messages elsewhere for safety reasons.

Not all of us had that same thought. Practitioners should not use human notions but should use their supernatural thoughts to deal with this problem. Master had mentioned the need to have a cultivation environment. We must first have a good cultivation environment around us so that our neighbors and friends will know the truth of Dafa.

We bought paintbrushes and white paint and painted "Falun Gong is Good," and "Falun Gong is the righteous law" over the red-painted areas. In the meantime we sent forth righteous thoughts, "Don't let the evil destroy our signs!" We got unbelievably positive results. The words on the wall were clear and gorgeous. When I walked into the hallway one day, having returned from work, I saw the words on the wall were golden, looked beautiful, and each word had a gold pillar on top, reaching into the sky. I was excited and knew that Master used this to encourage us to move forward.

We also distributed Dafa materials, including the booklet, "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" to each residence in this area, using different approaches so that each person was aware of it. We also posted the colorful flyer that read "Withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated originations" and the most recent number of people who had withdrawn from the CCP, which had great repercussions. Gradually people were awakening, and many of them quit the CCP and looked forward to a good future.

One day, the police arrived at our building and pretended to check residency IDs. They knocked on my door so loudly that our neighbors came out when they heard. The neighbors blocked the police from entering my home, and the police left empty-handed. Later on the neighbors told me, "We cannot let anyone disturb you!"

It was just like Master said in Zhuan Falun, "Some people say: "While a Tao is one foot tall, a demon would be one yard high." That is a false statement made by everyday people. A demon will never be higher than a Tao."

It has been seven years now, and the Dafa messages are still in our residential buildings' hallways. They frighten the evil and awaken the people.

On May 7, 1993, our great Teacher paid a visit to Linqing City, Shandong Province. Sparing no effort to save sentient beings, he gave a series of ten-day lectures on Falun Gong in Linqing City. More than ten years have since passed, but the lofty image of Teacher, soft-spoken and ever smiling, remains in my mind, ever inspiring me to walk firmly the path of returning to my true self.

We saw Teacher for the first time in a park. Teacher was dressed neatly in a dark blue suit, with a white shirt and black leather shoes. He looked very young, less than 30. Myself and a relative drew about two meters away from him when he smiled warmly to us. A relative of mine asked Teacher to cure his disease, and Teacher agreed. Teacher was so kind and approachable that after spending a long time with him we still did not want to leave. Later, I heard from a fellow practitioner that Teacher had selected for us a place in the park as a practice site, and had purified that area with his supernormal abilities.

During the Fa lectures given by Teacher in Linqing City, there was a lot of interference. I still remember that some music suddenly started playing from the speakers when Teacher was giving a lecture. He said, "They just do not want you to listen to the Fa." Then he put down the microphone and started to give the lecture directly. He asked us in all directions, "Can you hear me clearly?" He did not continue with the lecture until all of us answered: "Yes, we can!" He was always smiling warmly and was considerate of us all the time. After all the lectures were over, Teacher bought a big tape player with his own money and gave it to the practitioners of Linqing City to use at the practice site.

Teacher purified our bodies while giving the Fa lectures. A practitioner had been saving money for a long time to have an operation for her breast cancer before she came to the Fa lectures. But after she heard that there was a Falun Gong lecture in Linqing City, she chose to attend the lecture instead of going to the hospital. After she attended the lectures, she found to her amazement that the cancerous tumor in her breast was gone. She has been symptom-free ever since. When the lectures were over, she shared her understandings, but she was so excited that she could hardly speak and could not help shedding tears of gratitude to Teacher.

I had also been in bad physical condition. I had suffered from insomnia, irregular heart beat, three uterine tumors and spurs in the heels. My heels gave me so much pain that I did not dare let my feet touch the ground when I got up. I also suffered from another disability that I had developed after childbirth, which prevented me from lifting my arms. My leg also gave me constant pain, and I sometimes had high fever and had to stay in bed for days on end. Life was very hard for me at that time. After I attended Teacher's 10-day lecture series, all these diseases were gone, and I began to enjoy a sense of comfort that I had not felt before. During the lectures, before Teacher started to purify our bodies, Teacher asked us to think about the illnesses that we had or, if we were not ill ourselves, to think about our relatives or friends who were ill. At the time I even forgot that I was a seriously ill person.

Above all, ever since that lecture I started to understand that the genuine purpose of human life is to return to our true selves. My understandings about the world and my life were so completely revolutionized that I felt that I had turned into a new person both physically and mentally.

I remember Teacher said that we were extremely fortunate to attend the lectures, and that we were awarded such a precious opportunity because of the mighty virtue of our ancestors. He asked us to cherish such an opportunity. At that time, however, I failed to understand the profound meaning of Teacher's words and the great blessing the gods had given us. Now I have come to realize that nothing can be compared to the fortune that Dafa brings to us. On the night when all the lectures had ended, Teacher stood at the side of the lecture table and watched us all leave the lecture hall. We fixed our eyes upon Teacher and were reluctant to depart.

How time flies! More than a decade has passed! Whenever I recall the time of Teacher's visit to Linqing City I always feel overwhelmed. Teacher, Dafa practitioners from Linqing City miss you dearly.

Amidst the hardships of the past ten plus years, Teacher has taken care of me at every moment. Following Teacher closely, I have walked the path of my cultivation to this day. When the slander and lies of the Communist regime were cast upon Dafa and Teacher, I knew very well that they were not true. On the contrary, they allowed me to ever more clearly distinguish good from evil. Our Teacher is the greatest, the most compassionate and the most righteous. I will continue to do well the three things and never let Teacher down. I will do my best, so that Teacher may rest assured and be pleased.

(Clearwisdom.net) We are Fa-rectification Period Dafa Disciples. We should do what Teacher asks us to do and truly believe in Teacher and the Fa. If Teacher tells us to do the three things well, then we should do them well.

There are times when I haven't done well on sending forth righteous thoughts. When I could feel its effectiveness, I would want to send forth righteous thoughts more; whereas, when I didn't have a strong feeling, I sent righteous thoughts less. However, one incident has changed my understanding of sending forth righteous thoughts. It happened last year when I went to visit a fellow practitioner at her home. This practitioner is a little older than me. When I arrived, it was time to send righteous thoughts, so we sat down facing each other. After about seven minutes into sending forth righteous thoughts with my palm erect, I saw very clearly with my celestial eye that sitting in front of me was not the ordinary fellow practitioner, but a Buddha; the aura around her body was 5 inches wide. My eyes were closed at the time, so I opened them - she was indeed sitting there with a Buddha's appearance.

Teacher has said,

"Actually, every Dafa disciple has abilities. It's just that the abilities do not manifest in the surface dimension, so they think that they don't have supernormal abilities. But regardless of whether they can manifest in the surface dimension or not, when a person's True Thoughts come forth they are very powerful." ("Dafa Disciples' Righteous Thoughts are Powerful"

Therefore, whether one can feel it or not, as a Dafa practitioner, one should send forth righteous thoughts well.

I also remember another incident. One day in the evening, I went to the same practitioner's home. Her home was in a mess because the police had illegally ransacked it. She was reported to the police by the local people where she had delivered truth-clarification materials. The police from that region (50 miles away) thought that her home was the source of distribution, so they traveled all that way to her home and ransacked it. Immediately before the police arrived, this practitioner felt that something unusual was going to happen, so she put away all of Teacher's books as well as any truth-clarification materials. When the police arrived, they took her to the local police station. She was very calm at the time with strong righteous thoughts and had no fear. As a result, the police were not able to get any information from her. When the police asked if she would continue to practice Dafa, she replied, "Since Falun Gong is so wonderful, of course I will continue to practice." With Teacher's protection, she was released a few hours later.

Since then, I have realized the importance of having strong righteous thoughts. I wrote about the above experiences to help those practitioners, who haven't yet seen the importance of sending forth righteous thoughts, to pay more attention to this matter. Just as Teacher has said, "Dafa disciples' righteous thoughts are powerful."

Fellow practitioners, please study the Fa frequently and well, send forth righteous thoughts, and clarify the truth, so we can all manifest our divine power and meet the requirements of a Dafa practitioner.

(Clearwisdom.net) I'm a Dafa practitioner who lives in the countryside. I was very actively involved in persuading people to withdraw from the CCP. I talked about that to almost everybody I met. Every day, there were four to five people that I talked to who withdrew from the CCP. I was able to send forth righteous thoughts during the four set times every day. I often shared experiences with practitioners and helped more fellow practitioners to step forward to validate the Fa. Because I put the Fa in the foremost position, I had sufficient time to study the Fa and everything went very smoothly for me.

Recently, due to my human desires and wanting to have things in an easy way, I was slacking on the three things Master asks us to do. When I finally realized it, I had wasted some very precious time. I would like to share my experience here to alarm fellow practitioners who have similar experiences so we don't have regrets and are able to advance quickly.

Recently, when it was time for me to study the Fa, I often listened to the lectures on my MP3 player. I stopped reading all other Dafa books except Master's new lectures. I didn't correctly balance the relationship between studying the Fa and my daily life. Sometimes, I was planning to study the Fa after I was done with my chores. But it ended up that I would not finish with my chores nor start studying the Fa. I wasted quite a lot of time. No matter whether it was daytime or night time, I felt sleepy as soon as I started reading Dafa books. I started thinking: How many hours did I sleep last night? Did I take a nap at noon? I thought my mind would become clearer after rest. I slacked off in sending forth righteous thoughts and didn't realize that this was interference from karma and the demon of sleep. When I lay down, I went to sleep right away and sometimes even slept for two to three hours. The more I slept, the more I wanted to sleep. When I woke up, I felt very upset with myself.

I was also slacking off in practicing the exercises and clarifying the truth. Or when I did some things for validating the Fa, it would be self comforting and for the self-importance of feeling like I clarified the truth, persuaded many people to withdraw from the CCP and did the three things. I felt I had been following the Fa. So I started slacking off, and without noticing, I went on the path the old forces arranged. The thought karma and different desires all started affecting me. I even walked back into the human dye vat. My righteous thoughts became weaker and weaker. Sometimes I couldn't even control myself. My attachments to fame and money, jealousy, the mentality of showing off, and competitive mentality all came out. It was very dangerous now that I recall everything.

Master gave me hints several times. And I still didn't get it. I listened to my MP3 every day. While I was doing the work in the field, I was chatting with others. I took care of cows and planted vegetables. I should have had enough time to study the Fa. But I didn't put the Fa in the foremost place. I was just going through the motions when I sent forth righteous thoughts. Although I still continued to send forth righteous thoughts at the four set times every day. Every time, however, I couldn't even erect my palm. Sometimes I even fell asleep. After the time was over, I woke up. I've been very busy every day with my work. I didn't have enough impact any more when clarifying the truth.

Once, it was raining. All of a sudden, my house started leaking. I thought I must have some issues with my Xinxing. So I started studying the Fa with a calm mind and looking for loopholes. After I found my shortcomings, when it rained again, the house no longer leaked. But I still wasn't able to break through the interference. I kept listening to my MP3. As I was listening, all of a sudden, it was playing one sentence over and over again: "Think about it, these people are so busy every day that they can't cultivate any more... think about it, these people are so busy every day that they can't cultivate any more."

I knew it was Master trying to give me hints. But I still couldn't start being diligent again. A while later, one day, my wife (also a practitioner) and I were milking the cows. Right before we started, we found out that the milk had leaked out and it was all on the ground. My wife said, "I told you to milk them earlier and you didn't do it. See, now it's all gone."

The second day, we went to the barn early in the morning. There was still no milk. My wife didn't have any excuses to place on me this time. When I shared this with a fellow practitioner, he immediately said to me, "Seize your opportunity now! What you are getting is trash. What you are losing is the white substance. Don't you feel regret?" Because I listened to my MP3 every day, unknowingly, I even had the thought of giving up on cultivation. Fortunately our benevolent Master gave me hints again; when I was listening to the MP3, it stopped at one sentence again, "Turn your head back now... turn your head back now..."

One day, it was very cloudy. It was supposed to be a day to study the Fa at home because even many non-practitioners wouldn't go to work on the farm that day. But unknowingly, my karma found some work for me and didn't let me study the Fa. I couldn't help but getting the hoe and walking to the farm. It started raining right when I got there. So I walked back home and studied the Fa for a little while. But I couldn't calm down. I then planned to drive the truck to get the dirt out. But when I drove out of the village, I found that I forgot to get the shovel. So I returned to get the shovel and put the dirt in the truck. Then on my way home, I lost my shovel. The work should have taken at most one hour. But I wasted almost half a day.

I wrote this article over three months ago because I didn't feel I cultivated well enough and felt ashamed and I didn't feel I had any good experiences to share with fellow practitioners. But through discussions with practitioners and calmly studying the Fa, I followed what Master said:

"Pause for a moment of self-reflection,
and increase your righteous thoughts
Thoroughly analyze your shortcomings,
and progress with renewed diligence" ("Rational and Awake" in Hong Yin II)

I finally was able to break through the tribulations and finish this article. Please kindly point out anything inappropriate.

I would also like to remind fellow practitioners to let go of human notions and finish whatever truth clarification work you didn't finish. Let's all share our cultivation experience and learn our lessons so we can advance together.

(Clearwisdom.net) In order to solidify my cultivation, I have started memorizing Zhuan Falun. It is not the first time that I have attempted to do this. I tried before but due to various reasons, I only finished Lunyu and the first paragraph of the first chapter. However, this time my view is different. I was touched by the story on the Clearwisdom website that one practitioner recited Zhuan Falun to fellow practitioners in prison. With Dafa in mind, one owns everything. I then formally started memorizing Zhuan Falun.

At the beginning, I was severely interfered with by thought karma. My mind went astray after remembering only one sentence. I could not control it. Sending forth righteous thoughts helped me a little, but it did not last long. Therefore, the process was very slow. However, I was not only not discouraged, but also saw it as a good thing. The interference from thought karma only told me that if I memorized the Fa, the karma would be eliminated. That is the reason it was trying so hard to stop me. Besides the interference from my thought karma, the old forces also interfered. As a result, I was very sleepy. Especially when I read slowly, I fell asleep several times.

After the first two days, I had only memorized two paragraphs. I realized that I could no longer allow the interference of my thought karma and the old forces. I started digging out the root and realized that the form of interference was that I thought of trivial details in daily life and could not concentrate on reading the Fa.

Being absent-minded is a manifestation of a weak main consciousness. In addition, I am a very imaginative person. Some people may think that this is good, but it is not so from the perspective of a cultivator. Although I stopped reading the "storybooks" in ordinary society after I started practicing Falun Gong, I was still very imaginative. In other words, I did not realize the seriousness of this issue. I also found that as long as we have an attachment, when it is exposed, it is time to let it go.

Therefore, I immediately sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate any imaginings and illusions in my daily life or when I studied the Fa.

Another attachment is that I sleep too much. To put it simply, I am lazy. As a cultivator during this very special time, I have wasted so much time in dozing off. Some practitioners only sleep two to three hours and can still do the three things well. This is the reason why the old forces took advantage of my loophole of sleepiness and caused interference. After identifying the roots of these problems, I eliminated them with righteous thoughts. Consequently my efficiency in memorizing the Fa has improved.

(Clearwisdom.net) I'm a woman from the countryside. I had the good fortune to begin practicing Falun Dafa in July 1998. After I learned Falun Dafa, I realized that Master had been taking care of me since a long time ago. I remembered that once I was on my way home from the hospital and I could not hold back my tears while looking up at the sky. I felt very sad and wanted to go home, as if my parents were waiting for me in heaven. I didn't know what was going on until I learned Falun Dafa.

On July 20, 1999, the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Dafa practitioners began, and our Master was slandered by evil people. At this time four members of my family and other practitioners enlightened that we needed to practice firmly and walk our paths following Master until the end, even if the sky fell. Thus we have been steadfast amidst tribulations to this day. I cannot count how many times the government has harassed us at our home. Later my whole family was forced to leave home for over a year. We returned in 2003.

On April 13, 2005 my husband was arrested and taken to the detention center. For eight months we were forbidden to see him. In order to take Master's lectures and articles to him, I wrote them on a piece of cloth. I wrote for four full days and my hand was covered with blisters. On the night I finished writing Master gave me a hint and helped me. I dreamed that I went onto a very high dam with another practitioner. Along the way there were images of Buddhas, Taos, Gods, Bodhisattvas and lotuses. I stepped on their shoulders one after another, and stepped on a lotus last. At the top, there was a broad straight path. Another practitioner and I walked forward. When I woke up, I realized it was a dream. It was Master's care, help and hints that firmed up my righteous thoughts.

The next day, a practitioner offered to send forth righteous thoughts with me near the detention center. After we arrived there we walked around the detention center and sent forth righteous thoughts, and then we successfully delivered the material into the detention center. It was Master's care that helped us do the three things well to save sentient beings and eliminate the evil.

In May 2006, a series of things happened in my family. My mother, who is 88 years old and a Dafa disciple, used to stay at my home. She went to my sister's home, and so I was the only one left at home. About a week later the prison called and said my husband was in critical condition, so my family and I went to the detention center. After we arrived we learned that my husband had died from torture. We started to question the police. They could not give any explanation, and promised to grant some of our requests and pay for the cremation. I brought his ashes home and all the Falun Dafa practitioners of my village came to say goodbye to him. Right after that my eldest daughter (also a Falun Dafa practitioner) broke up with her boyfriend.

All these things were really unbearable for me. It was really difficult. The sadness that filled my heart, the feeling of not being able to let go, and the attachment of protecting myself from being hurt made me feel it was so difficult to get rid of the attachments. Sometimes when other practitioners pointed out my shortcomings, though I accepted it, my heart was moved. I could not let go of the selfishness of protecting myself. The good thing is, Master's Fa echoed in my ears,

"Be solid and firm like diamond, or granite, and then nothing can affect you." ("Teaching the Fa at the Western U.S. International Fa Conference").

I also often remembered the section "People with Great Inborn Quality" in Zhuan Falun. Therefore I didn't fall and passed these tribulations calmly and quickly. It was under Master's care and help that I could get through it all.

The birth and death of a human is not the real birth and death. If a life leaves Dafa, what it will face is endless and extreme pain and desperation, and that is the death and destruction of the life, and is the most dreadful. Actually, as long as we put cultivation, validating Dafa and saving sentient beings first, we can do anything, and the miracle of Dafa will manifest in us.

(Clearwisdom.net) I am one of those practitioners who cannot see or feel anything in their cultivation. However, I just believe in Master and the Fa, and my cultivation progresses from understanding the Fa. Whether I am a wise person or not, I just follow the path of "When a wise person hears the Tao, this person will practice it diligently" on my cultivation journey.

My feelings are so mixed today when I think of what I have gone through and conquered on this journey of cultivation. In the past, I had various kinds of diseases, and I learned some qigong. My health problems did not get any better, but got worse and worse. It was really a hard time for me. In February 1998, I was fortunate enough to start practicing Falun Dafa. At that time, my true self knew that I had obtained a priceless treasure, one that I had been looking for for many years. I eagerly read through Zhuan Falun in three days. I was in tears as I read. Then I read the rest of the Dafa books. I realized that this was the law of the universe. I began cultivating diligently and my diseases quickly disappeared. I became healthy and energetic. Each morning I carried a tape player to the exercise site and practiced with others. I was a happy cultivator in this pure land.

Starting on July 20, 1999, the Party began persecuting Falun Gong. We no longer had a peaceful cultivation environment. Pressure came from all directions. My family members first said, "You can turn in two books, making a gesture, and can keep the rest of the Dafa books." "No, I will not turn in a single book," I firmly replied. It was Dafa that saved me and let me escape from a bitter environment. These books are more precious than my life. I hid the books in a safe place. Then I prepared a few changes of clothes, anticipating the worst. If the authorities came to search my house, I could go with them but they would not get the books. Perhaps my determination to protect the Dafa books at any cost made a difference; they did not search my house and I studied the Fa and did the exercises as usual.

In 2000, during the Chinese New Year holidays, I went to Beijing to appeal and was illegally detained for a month. On the second day in the detention center, two police officers came to interrogate me. I felt I was a good citizen who practiced "Truth-Compassion-Forbearance" and had not done anything wrong, so I decided not to cooperate with them, regardless of the kinds of tricks they tried to play. I also recited Master's poem "Benevolent Might" from Hong Yin:

"Dafa is what you carry everywhere,
Zhen Shan Ren, rooted in the mind;
A great Arhat walks the earth,
Gods and demons fear with awe." (verified)

I was taken aside, and they explained their purpose. I just replied, "I refuse to answer." "OK, you may leave now," they said. After I came back to my cell, I thought of Master and felt the mighty power of Dafa helping me get through this test. Tears came to my eyes.

After 15 days of illegal detention, the 610 Office people came to ask me if I would continue to practice. I said, "Definitely! It is such a wonderful practice, I will stick to it to the end." Then they asked me to turn in my Dafa books. I said, "I will not give them to you even if you want my head." Thus they extended my detention by 15 more days.

After I was released, they often came to my home to disturb me. Friends and relatives tried to persuade me to lie to them, saying that I had quit the practice, and that I could then continue practicing quietly and nobody would know about it. I explained to them that I could not tell lies and that Master has taught us to speak the truth, behave truthfully, be a true person and, finally, to return to one's true self. "This is a wonderful practice, I want to cultivate openly with nobody influencing me."

At that time, some people influenced by CCP propaganda criticized us, saying, "Falun Gong practitioners disregard their families and are selfish." We could only kindly explain to them, "If the persecution of Falun Gong did not happen, who would go to Beijing to appeal and who would bother to clarify the facts? They detain us, causing misfortune to our families and relatives, and then put the blame on us. Isn't this a robber's logic?" My family also tried to persuade me to quit the practice to avoid facing such a cruel persecution. They suggested that I play Mahjong or trade stocks, where nobody would interfere. I felt sad when I heard this. I remember the older generation used to view the worst kind of people as having the following habits: "Eating, drinking, prostitution and gambling." You want me to play Mahjong, isn't that gambling? You want me to behave like a bad person, I will not do it!

Right after the beginning of 2001, the 610 Office people gathered eight practitioners that had appealed in Beijing to attend a brainwashing session. For the retirees, each had to make a deposit of 2000 yuan. After a few days, they told us to a write a report or make a verbal statement. Two young practitioners said, "Falun Dafa is good!" They were sent to a forced labor camp the next day. I wrote two sentences: "Falun Dafa is the law of the universe. To cherish Dafa is to cherish my life." They got mad when they read that, saying, "After a few days' brainwashing, you've become more stubborn." I just smiled. To be honest, there was a little fear in my mind. I was afraid that if they sent me to the labor camp, how could I study the Fa, do the exercises, and clarify the facts?

Another vicious person came to my home on the evening of the same day. He showed me "guarantee statements" from two "reformed" practitioners in the brainwashing center, saying that they had handed in their books and that I should follow them instead of writing such bold statements. They showed my written statement to my husband. My husband became desperate and pleaded with them, trying to get the paper back. The man said, "I shall turn it in to my superiors." "Go ahead, I've only spoken the truth and nobody can change me," I replied. The person continued to threaten me, "If you keep behaving like this, I'll send you to a brainwashing center. If that still does not work, we'll send you to jail. Do you still want to resist?" I answered, "I have been in jail. I am not even afraid of death. Your threats are nothing to me." Then I tried to clarify the facts to save him, but he was still controlled by the evil elements in other dimensions and spoke disrespectfully about Dafa. My husband also cooperated with him, asking me to stop the practice. Finally he ran out of ideas and left my home in frustration.

The next day, I remembered Master's teaching:

"What did you go there for? By going there to listen, didn't you want to seek something? If you did not listen with your ears, how could it get into your body?" ("Lecture Six" in Zhuan Falun)

I realized that I should not listen any more to their ridiculous reasonings and that I should not let them send me to the labor camp. I needed to study the Fa, do the exercises, and clarify the facts. The next morning, I left home. My mind was empty, I did not have any destination in mind, and did not know where to go. Later, without thinking, I stepped on a bus that went to the home of one of my relatives.

The news of my departure was like a bomb explosion. The authorities immediately divided into five groups, running to bus and train stations looking for me. They did not find me and sent two people to Beijing. They even threatened to make my husband pay for their airline tickets. I stayed at my relative's home for two months. Although I had contacted local practitioners, it was not as good as staying at home to validate the Fa and clarify the facts. I just felt that it was not right to stay there. I finally decided to return home.

After I got home, the 610 Office people came over. They wanted an explanation and threatened to send me to a brainwashing center. It was a difficult time for me. First, they wanted me to sign a guarantee statement, which I firmly refused to do. Then they asked the Party secretary of the retirement office and others to visit my home. They entered my home, and the secretary took out a pen and a notebook to take notes. I said, "I am not a criminal. If you came here to interrogate me, you may leave now." The secretary quickly put away his pen and notebook. Then I started to clarify the facts to them. I talked about physical fitness, mental purification, and the improvement of morality. "Dafa is so wonderful that everyone can benefit from it." Four of them plus my husband reasoned with me, but they were all defeated. They did not reach their goal and had to leave. The Party secretary said, "I'll come back later." "Do not waste your time. I will cultivate to the end and nobody can stop me," I said.

They did not show up again. The "retirement office" saw that I refused to be "reformed" and they threatened to withhold my pension and kick me out of their organization. The only thing in my mind at that time was: "Nothing in the world is important to me, I only need Dafa." My husband could not bear the pressure from all sides and said to me, "If you continue to be like this, I will not take it anymore, and we should ..." He stopped, looking sad. I knew he was talking about "divorce." I understood him, as he was just an everyday person. An everyday person's mentality is different from ours. He was pursuing happiness but we were suffering, so he could not take it anymore. This sentimentality of husband and wife could not affect my determination. I just calmed him down.

My son spoke to me in tears, "Mama, I beg you not to practice anymore. If you continue and are arrested, who will take care of me?" I became a little emotional with my son. However, I thought of Master's Fa and quickly calmed down. Then the telephone rang. I asked my son to pick up the phone. He was crying and said, "I will do it only if you quit the practice." I felt I should explain to him. I told him that Dafa had healed my health problems and that he himself had witnessed everything. I did all the housework and no longer needed them to take care of me, so they could concentrate on their work, etc. Finally I said, "My son, in the near future you will feel proud of having a mother like me." The telephone rang again, and my son picked it up. From then on, he never disturbed me again. Master's teaching enabled me to pass another test of sentimentality.

In "Teaching the Fa at the Western U.S. International Fa Conference," Master said:

"To walk this path well and progress to its end--nothing is more extraordinary. I say that because during the journey you will have hardships, tests of every sort, unforeseen ordeals, and you will have unexpected interference from all kinds of attachments and emotion. The interference will come from family, society, good friends, and even fellow cultivators. And along with this there is interference from changes in the state of human society and from human notions that were formed in society. All of those things can drag you back to being like an ordinary person. But if you can break through all of it, you can advance towards godhood. So as a cultivator, what is truly remarkable is when you can be steadfast and have righteous thoughts so firm that nothing can sway you."

After reading this paragraph, I was more clear on how to take each step correctly, how to face each test and tribulation, how to study the Fa well, how to do the three things well, and how to be diligent and save sentient beings on my cultivation journey.

(Clearwisdom.net) I am Falun Dafa practitioner from Chongqing and would like to tell my experiences of rescuing people with Master's protection, and how I validated Dafa.

In April 2005 I handed a gatekeeper a Falun Gong bookmark at his request, and the head security guard reported it to the police. In June, the police notified me that I had been sentenced to two years of forced labor for this incident, but I got a deferred sentence and was to stay at home. Since then, at Chinese New Year and on other holidays or "sensitive days" I have been closely monitored. Two security guards on either side of me followed me around at a retirement celebration party.

Master said,

"Wherever a problem comes along, that's where you should go to clarify the truth."

(Teaching the Fa at the Meeting with Asia-Pacific Students")

Master also said:

"You should view them with righteous thoughts, [asking yourselves,] 'With this trouble I'm facing, what's the correct approach to all that has to do with this interference, and how should I balance it against the goal of saving sentient beings? And how should I go about it in a way that's responsible to sentient beings, and view the occurrence of these things as good grounds for clarifying the truth, or as good opportunities to clarify the truth?' Under normal circumstances you might not have a reason to go approach people and clarify the truth to them, and if you do so out of the blue they might not want to meet with you. Doesn't the interference give you a chance to interact with people? Shouldn't you seize the opportunity and clarify the truth to them?" ("Teaching the Fa in Canada, 2006")

I clarified the truth about Falun Gong to the people who followed me, told them to quit the CCP and its affiliated originations, spoke of the power of Dafa, told how Dafa saved my life, and told of Master's greatest compassion so that I could find my way to my eternal home. People who understood the truth started quitting the CCP, and some of them even used their real names. I gave them little cards with Dafa words, Dafa materials, and the booklet "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party." Some people even read Zhuan Falun. One security guard who followed me around had previously misunderstood Dafa. Once he knew the truth he told everyone, "That person [meaning me] is a good person!"

I had let go of my attachment to reputation and listen to Master. Whenever there is a trouble, first I do not acknowledge it, then I reject it, and in the meantime I take the opportunity to tell the facts and rescue people.

In April 2006 I was arrested and sent to the police station because I had distributed the Nine Commentaries to my managers at work. About 20 security guards from my workplace and police officers came to my home and searched several times. Someone shouted at me, "I am surprised that you are so bold. No one in the city can do what you have done. We must send you to a forced labor camp."

I was not afraid. I remembered that Master told us to completely reject any arrangements the old forces had made. A Dafa practitioner must rescue people. I constantly sent forth righteous thoughts, memorized the Fa, and clarified the truth to them. I was handcuffed for two days but I did not feel any pain. I knew that Master was taking care of me then. Two days later I walked out of the police station with dignity.

In June 2006, the police called me and ordered me to report at a police station. They told me that they would stop by my place and look around. I told them that since I practiced Falun Gong at home, my home must contain things prepared for a cultivator. They insisted on just taking a "look" and nothing else. At that time, full of residual effects from the CCP's propaganda tactics, I was worried about disturbing my ill son and I let them in. They searched my home again and confiscated many items. I was handcuffed and taken to the police station.

As they pushed me into the police vehicle, I shouted loudly "Falun Dafa is good!" and "Truthfulness- Compassion-Tolerance is good!" The supervisor slapped my face. I stared at him for a while. His had pain in his arm for two months later on.

At the police station they discussed searching my older son's home. I queried them, "Why do you want to do that? Do you intend to find my relatives guilty by association?" The station chief replied, "Yes, we will. You did not know that?" I cautioned against this saying, "How can you dare to find my relatives guilty by association? The Cultural Revolution killed so many innocent people just because they were relatives of those deemed 'guilty!' Many countries in the world criticize China for implicating relatives by guilt of association. The CCP was even reluctant to do this, but you are doing it now. No wonder the Nine Commentaries mentioned that the CCP is extremely evil and the heavens have decided to destroy the CCP!" They locked me into a cell, but I was not afraid.

A 610 Office chief saw me locked in the cell, and I shouted "Falun Dafa is good!" and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance is good!" He shouted back, "What do you want?" "I want to go home!" I replied. He was not happy and said, "We will let you go soon, just wait." I did not listen to him and continued saying, "Falun Dafa is good!" and "Truthfulness-Compassion -Tolerance are good!" No one said another word to me. A couple of hours later they released me. It is true that Master decides everything.

In August 2006 people from my workplace arrived at my home. They deceived me into opening the door by offering to take my son to see a doctor. Just like the time before, several security guards and police broke into my home and searched it. They tried to send me to Maojiashan Forced Labor Camp and took my ill son somewhere else. My son's workplace did not agree with this arrangement. In order to put me in Maojiashan, my workplace had to pay for my son to live somewhere else. I was tricked into going to my workplace, where the police captured me and took me to the police station.

Many people witnessed this incident and started shouting "Falun Dafa is good!" "Truthfulness-Compassion - Tolerance is good!" and "The heavens have decided to destroy CCP!" No police officer attempted to stop me. When I left the vehicle at the police station I continued shouting, "Falun Dafa is good!" I also told them, "I am a Dafa practitioner. It is normal to have Dafa materials at home." This time, they did not handcuff me and did not lock me in a room, either. I got home at 6:00 p.m. I have not been harassed since.

I had recently gone to Beijing. I had brought a large bag of truth clarification materials with me, including copies of the Nine Commentaries, truth-clarifying CDs, and flyers. I deposited them on buses, at a bus station, and by the side of the road. No matter if they were police, people in the military, city residents, contractors, or visitors, they all accepted the truth clarification materials. Some people even reminded me to be careful. I could tell that people are awakening.

I will listen to Master to study the Fa, study the Fa, and study the Fa well, and use this to guide my cultivation. I will let of my attachments and walk one step at a time on my way to consummation.
