Dafa Practitioner Mr. Lin Shusen from Beijing Suffering Torture In Qianjin Prison (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) Due to his belief in "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance," Dafa practitioner Lin Shusen from Beijing was illegally sentenced to three years of imprisonment in 2001, and imprisoned at Qianjin Prison in Beijing. In April, 2005, Mr. Lin was sentenced to five years of imprisonment, and once again sent into Qianjin Prison. Throughout this period, due to the long-term torture, Lin Shushen's kidneys and liver failed, his bones deteriorated, he excreted everything he ate without digesting it, yet he was still kept under strict disciplinary surveillance. For six months, his family members did not receive a single phone call or letter from him.

Not until late July, 2007, was Lin' Shushen's true situation discovered. His right ankle bone is fractured, and the muscle of his right lower leg is atrophic. He was hospitalized for over four months, but he still is not able to walk.

Due to the prison's tight information blockade to conceal their crimes, it is not yet known what tortures Mr. Lin has been subjected to.

Lin Shusen, 33, was born in Qingan County, Heilongjiang Province. After graduating from the Qing'an Third High School, Mr. Lin entered the Beijing College of Acupuncture-Moxibustion and Orthopedics-Traumatology. He began cultivating Falun Dafa in college and stayed in Beijing after graduation to work. In 2001, Lin Shusen was illegally sentenced to three years of imprisonment by the Chinese Communist Party authorities for clarifying the truth to people, and imprisoned at the Qianjin Prison, in Beijing. Attempting to force him to renounce his belief in "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance," they used all kinds of torture methods on Lin Shushen, including endurance tests, handcuffing behind his back, forcing him to run a hundred laps around the basketball court, making him sit on a 10 cm. (4 in.) tall stool for fifteen to sixteen hours per day, depriving him of sleep for fifteen days, beating him with electric batons, forcing him to wear clothes that were too small for him, imprisoning him in a small cell, and tying him on the "death man's bed," etc. for seven months. These inhumane tortures caused Mr. Lin to become mentally unhealthy for more than six months.

In April 2005, he was arrested by Fang Ge and his gang of police officers from the Xinjiekou Police Station, Xicheng District, Beijing. Mr. Lin was illegally sentenced to five years of imprisonment. In June 2006, he was once again sent to Qianjin Prison.
