Ms. Chen Jinling Taken into Custody by the Sanshilipu Town Police in Liaoning Province


(Clearwisdom.net) At about 10:30 a.m. on September 3, 2007, police officers from the Sanshilipu Town Police Station in Jinzhou District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province illegally entered the home of Ms. Chen Jinling, a local Falun Gong practitioner. Ms. Chen was forcibly taken into custody and her home was searched. The police confiscated a computer, a printer, Falun Gong books, truth clarifying materials, a bankbook to a bank account that had tens of thousands of yuan, twenty thousand yuan in cash, a motorcycle and other valuables. The confiscated items totaled about sixty thousand yuan in value. Nearly all of Ms. Chen's family's assets were taken away.

Ms. Chen is being detained at the Sanli Detention Center in Jinzhou District, Dalian City. Daring not to return home, her husband was forced to become destitute and homeless. Her children went to the detention center and demanded her release. They were informed that as soon as their mother told the police about other practitioners she was in contact with, she would be released.
