Xishanping Forced Labor Camp Officials in Chingqing City Are Still Severely Persecuting Falun Gong Practitioners

(Clearwisdom.net) The persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in the Xishanping Forced Labor Camp, Chongqing City, is still very severe. According to a news source, for more than a month officials at the camp have been ruthlessly abusing the practitioners who persevere in Falun Gong practice. Besides making them do extremely intense manual labor, consisting of folding 1,500 small packages for headache powder, the physical tortures are extremely brutal. For instance, the abusers use hard objects to bang the practitioners' wrists and ankles; some practitioners were battered to a pulp. Not even older practitioners are spared from such gross abuse.

Practitioners who attempt to defy this abuse are compelled to work for a week without sleep. The CCP officials came up with that idea. Two practitioners appeared severely ill and were sent to the camp's hospital. One of them was Wang Qi from the Yuzhong District.

The camp's No. 7 Division is particularly horrible. The guards ordered their helpers--prisoners Guan Deming, Gu Liang, and group leader Ma Xing, a drug addict--to torture the practitioners savagely, including Deng Liping, Kang Hong, and Li Wenlong.

One of the most evil guards is Lei Kejin. He has persecuted and abused practitioners since 2001. He was promoted from regular guard to Group 2 leader of the No. 7 Division. He came up with all kinds of tactics to abuse practitioners. He forced them to do extra amounts of hard labor, made them exhausted, and mentally and physically harmed them. He has ruthlessly dealt with those practitioners who have refused to accept the brainwashing.

In August 2007, the guards attempted to force Li Wenlong to accept the brainwashing and write the so-called three statements. Li refused. Guard Lei Kejin secretly ordered Gu Liang, Guan Deming, and other vicious criminal inmates to beat Mr. Li Wenlong, who had bruises all over his body. His right eye was swollen and one of his ribs was fractured, leaving an obvious hollow area. They still forced Li Wenlong to work.

Prior to Li Wenlong's persecution, he used to work at the Chongqing Steel Machine Repair Shop. He was a group leader and was awarded the title of "Model Worker" almost every year.

His wife and mother also practice Falun Gong and follow the principle of "Truth-Compassion-Forbearance." The CCP has persecuted this harmonious family for a long time. On June 1, 2007, Li Wenlong was arrested again and sent to Xishanping Forced Labor Camp.
