Four Practitioners From Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Are Secretly and Illegally Sentenced

(Clearwisdom.net) On July 11, 2007, the Sixth Court of the Middle Courthouse of Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region opened a hearing for the case of practitioners Mr. Zhao Yuhu, Mr. Cai Guojun, Ms. Zhang Xiaoping, and Ms. Jiang Hongying. Although the practitioners held righteous thoughts, the court still upheld the original secret and illegal sentence. Practitioner Ms. Mu Zhihong from Shizuishan City was also brought to trial for the second time.

These five practitioners were sentenced as follows: Zhao Yuhu, 7 years; Cai Guojun, 5 years; Zhang Xiaoping, 5½ years; Jiang Hongying, 4 years; and Mu Zhihong, 3 years. Recently we learned that Zhang Xiaoping, Jiang Hongying, and Mu Zhihong are detained in Yinchuan Women's Prison, and Zhao Yuhu and Cai Guojun are detained in Shizuishan Prison (previously Pingluo Prison).

On the evening of May 29, 2006, under the command of the 610 Office and the Public Security Bureau of Ningxia Autonomous Region, agents from the Yinchuan City 610 Office, along with public security officers, used various plots to follow and monitor practitioners Zhao Yuhu, Cai Guojun, Zhang Xiaoping, and Jiang Hongying from Yinchuan City and Mu Zhihong from Zhizuishan City. The practitioners are detained in the Yinchuan City Detention Center and being subjected to brutal torture.

On May 29, 2007, under great pressure from the Autonomous Region's governing body and the 610 Office, the court in Xixia District, Yinchuan City was forced to open a hearing on the four practitioners who held righteous thoughts denying the persecution. The court secretly pronounced its judgment on all four of them. The four practitioners appealed the sentence. On July 11, 2007, Yinchuan City Middle Court again secretly pronounced heavy sentence on the four practitioners.
