(Clearwisdom.net) It was lunch time, and a lot of people were coming in and leaving the Shuimo Cafeteria of Tsinghwa University. Among the noise of conversations and giggling, you could still hear a peaceful melody. Looking to the source of the music, there was a group of students practicing Falun Gong (also called Falun Dafa) on the lawn between the cafeteria and the skating field. "Wow, that is Falun Gong!" some students said as they passed by.

Why were they doing exercises during lunch break? First, this is a daily exercise for the practitioners; and secondly, it is also a good way to promote Falun Dafa on campus. Tsinghwa University is famous for its engineering and science, so the study load is heavy and the pace of life is fast. The members of Falun Dafa Club practice Falun Gong exercise in their spare time to achieve a peaceful and calm mind and good health. Besides the daily exercises, there is a weekly group study and experience sharing session. Even on days when a typhoon came and it was very windy and rainy, practitioners appeared on time at the group study.

At the beginning of the semester, the Falun Dafa club introduced Falun Gong to new students at the Student Club Fair. When it was the Falun Dafa Club's turn for a performance, the host asked the audience, "You know what, there are some people doing meditation near the skating field every day. Do you know what that club it is?" Then the Falun Dafa practitioners went on to the stage and demonstrated the exercises to the music of "Pu Du". At the same time, one student introduced how Falun Dafa spread around the world in 15 years and people in over 80 countries now practice. But only in Mainland China is Falun Gong persecuted, and the Chinese Communist Party even harvests organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. The speaker hoped the entire audience would pass on the truth to help end the persecution and also invited students to learn and practice Falun Gong.

At the Falun Dafa Club's table, some students came to ask for more information. The practitioners patiently answered their questions. The most frequently asked question is why the Chinese Communist Party wants to persecute Falun Gong? Through the practitioners explanations, they learned that because the number of Chinese people practicing Falun Gong was so large, it made the then communist leader Jiang Zemin very jealous. So he ordered the persecution of Falun Gong.

One student came to the table saying she had read some of Zhuan Falun and had learned the exercises before. The practitioners encouraged her to read through Zhuan Falun and continue the cultivation practice.

There were some foreign students and visitors too. The practitioners passed English fliers to them and talked about the persecution of Falun Gong in China as well as the changes of both body and mind from their own experiences.

The practitioners from Tsinghwa University Falun Dafa Club want to let more people know the beauty of Falun Dafa and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" through more activities during the semester.
