New York: State Senator Vincent Leibell Sends Congratulations to the First International Chinese Vocal Competition(Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) The First International Chinese Vocal Competition was held on October 15-17, 2007, in Kaufmann Concert Hall, New York City. On October 17, New York State Senator Vincent Leibell issued a Citation in recognition of the First International Chinese Vocal Competition.

Whereas, A Great State is only as great as those persons or organizations who give exemplary service to their community, whether through participation in voluntary programs, through unique personal achievement in their profession or other endeavors, or simply through a lifetime of good citizenry; and

Whereas, When individuals or organizations of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our attention, they should be celebrated and recognized by the citizens of the great State of New York; now therefore be it

Resolved, That I am pleased to recognize and congratulate the New Tang Dynasty Television and Organizing Committee upon celebrating the Chinese Vocal Competition in New York City; this celebration to be commemorated on Wednesday, October 17, 2007; and be it further

Resolved, That a copy of this Citation, suitably engrossed, be transmitted to the New Tang Dynasty Television and Organizing Committee.
