Ms. Li Xiaoling from Shanxi Province Sentenced to Prison

(Clearwisdom.net) On July 20, 2007, when Ms. Li Xiaoling, 34, clarified the truth about Falun Gong to security officers in a Gaoping City government building, she was reported to the authorities and consequently arrested. Personnel from the 610 Office, including Yang Changchun and Tian Junying, carried out the illegal arrest and searched her home.

On September 19, 2007, Ms. Li Xiaoling was secretly sentenced to four years in prison. However, her family was not notified. When her family became aware of Li Xiaoling's situation, they immediately tried to appeal her case. Yang Changchun (from the 610 Office) threatened to prolong Xiaoling's imprisonment if her family followed through with the appeal.

Li Xiaoling is now detained in Gaoping City Detention Center and is not allowed visits from her family.

Yang Changchun leads a team of the National Security Department and plays a major role in the persecution of Falun Gong. Tian Junying, Yang's assistant follows his orders closely and actively participates in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners.

During a meeting held in Gaoping City on September 9, 1998, Yang Changchun ordered several thugs to rob Falun Gong practitioners of their truth-clarification materials. Yang Changchun began to arrest and sentence Dafa practitioners to prison when Jiang Zemin's regime and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started the persecution on July 20, 1999.

It has been verified that Yang Changchun and Tian Junying directly sentenced four practitioners to forced labor camps and two to prison, and they detained four other practitioners. They forced employers to fire Dafa practitioners from their jobs and illegally seized practitioners' property. Yang Changchun uses surveillance, harassment, and lies to instigate conflict between Falun Gong practitioners and their families.
