Ms. Sun Chongzhen and Mr. Chen Guiyun Arrested Again by 610 Office Agents in Junan County, Shandong Province
(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Sun Chongzhen and Mr. Chen
Guiyun, residents of Junan County, Linyi City, were arrested by agents of the
610 Office and local police on October 8, 2007. Mr. Chen was taken
to a detention center and his wife was forced to leave home to avoid being
arrested. Around 6:00 a.m. on October 8, 2007, Ms. Sun Chongzhen, a resident of
Shigoudong Village, Dadian Town, was arrested by police from the Junan County
610 Office and Dadian Town Station who arrived in three police vehicles.
Reportedly, police and agents from the 610 Office stayed at Ms. Sun's house for
about two hours. Ms. Sun is probably being held somewhere in downtown Linyi
City. At around 2:00 p.m. on the same day, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Chen Guiyun,
a resident of Dunhou Village, Tingshui Town, was arrested by police from
Tingshui Station and agents from the Junan County 610 Office. They confiscated
all Dafa books, an mp3 player, copies of the "Nine Commentaries on the
Communist Party," "Minghui Weekly," etc. from his
home. Ms. Sun Chongzhen, who is in her forties, was arrested because she explained
the real situation of Falun Dafa on July 11, 2003. She was detained at the Junan
County Detention Center for a month. Later she was transferred to the Jinan City
Women's Labor Camp and detained there for three years. During this period, she
was tortured by being hung from the ceiling by her wrists and being put in
solitary confinement. During this period, her mother-in-law and her brother
passed away, and she was not allowed to see them for a last visit. Ms. Sun was
released in 2006 after her term had been arbitrarily extended by two extra
months. Mr. Chen Guiyun is in his late forties and he and his wife are both Falun
Dafa practitioners. In 2003, police from Junan County were trying to arrest Mr.
Chen Guiyun but failed. Instead, they arrested his wife Ms. Li Keju. She was
eventually sentenced to two years of forced labor. In 2005, Ms. Li Keju was
released but she was forced to leave home and go into hiding because she was in
danger of being arrested again. Relevant telephone numbers: October 13, 2007
