(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Peng Shiqiong is in her 50s. She is from Huaying City, the Guang'an Area, Sichuan Province. After the persecution began, Peng Shiqiong went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong and to expose the lies spread by the Chinese Communist Party. She has been sentenced to forced labor three times by the local governments in Guang'an, Nanchong, and Chongqing, two years each time, for a total of six years. At present, Ms. Peng is being held beyond the end of her third term. Chongqing Women's Forced Labor Camp authorities intend to extend her period of detention

Peng Shiqiong was twice imprisoned in the notorious Nanmusi Women's Forced Labor Camp, where she had to endure torture for four years. She was once shocked with electric batons on her mouth by the head of the Team No.7, Zhang Xiaofang. Ms. Peng was also forbidden to take showers or to change clothes.

In January 2001, in the two teams, No. 5 and No. 7, that specifically detained Falun Gong practitioners, Peng Shiqiong and other steadfast practitioners were forced to stand with their faces against the wall from 6:00 a.m. until midnight and sometimes even until the next morning. Sometimes, more than 20 practitioners were forced to sit in a small room a little over 10 square meters. They were confined in the small room from morning till night, and everything was done in that little room, including having meals, and relieving themselves. Nobody was allowed to talk nor were they allowed to close their eyes. Once the guards gave orders that, since the practitioners refused to be "transformed," they would not be allowed to wash their hair, bodies, or clothes. In addition, the guards forced the practitioners to do such work as sorting pig hair or gluing baby bags.

In the winter of 2002, a journalist from Australia went to Nanmusi Women's Forced Labor Camp and asked for information about the water dungeon. Prison guard Li Qi denied the existence of a water dungeon. Li Qi took the journalist from the first floor to the third. Seeing that 13 practitioners were being forced to stand, the journalist asked, "Why are they standing there?" Li Qi replied, "Because they like it." One practitioner pointed at Li Qi and said, "No, we do not like standing here. She makes us." After the journalist left, Li Qi instigated some drug addict inmates to brutally beat Peng Shiqiong, Gao Huifang (who has since been tortured to death), Luo Meng, and Wang Huiying for several hours. Even the regular prisoners were horrified when they saw what was going on, and turned away. However, that was still not enough for Li Qi. She later ordered several regular prisoners to take turns beating these four practitioners. For half a month, after the other practitioners went to sleep, the prison guards would handcuff the practitioners behind their backs and then hang them up on trees until dawn. During this time, the prisoners kicked Luo Meng numerous times. One elderly practitioner, Wang Huiying was all tied up with her legs double crossed like a ball for four days. After they untied her, her buttocks were festering, and the bone was exposed. In addition, the guards still forced her to listen to the recordings that slandered Falun Gong. Then they forced her to write a statement of regret.

On February 17, 2003, because practitioners refused to read the books that slandered Falun Gong, guards Li Qi, Li Xia, and Yin Dan instigated six drug addict inmates to strip the clothes off of practitioners Liu Zhongyi, Tao Yuqin, Peng Shiqiong, Luo Meng, and Duan Wenlian. Then the guards used double layered leather belts, hard plastic slippers, and wooden clubs to beat each of them. As the beaten practitioners were laying on the floor, the guards pulled them into another room and continued to beat them. When they were tired, these goons put on their shoes and stepped on the practitioners' stomachs. They also used extremely obscene methods to insult these practitioners.

The team head, Li Qi, and some other guards instigated drug addict inmates and other prisoners to brutally beat Peng Shiqiong and other practitioners. On freezing cold winter days, they forced the practitioners to strip off their clothes. If they refused to take off their clothes, the prisoners would tear them off and then push the naked practitioners down on the floor. They also insulted them and said that practitioners were shameful. They did not allow the practitioners to use the toilet, and every two hours, they would pour cold water on them. The guards forced the practitioners to relieve themselves in their clothes, then took off their clothes and threw them away. In Team 8, Peng Shiqiong and other steadfast practitioners were frequently beaten by drug addict inmates and other prisoners who also used cigarette butts to burn practitioners' nipples.

On May 9, 2005, Peng Shiqiong and several other practitioners were arrested once again and secretly sentenced to two years of forced labor. The prison guards did not even inform their families. Therefore, her family members had to search everywhere for Peng Shiqiong. They learned that Peng Shiqiong was sentenced to two years of forced labor once again and was detained in the Chongqing Women's Forced Labor Camp, where she was brutally tortured. Her family went to the labor camp to visit her, but the guards lied to them and said that she was suffering from high blood pressure, so they could not see her. In fact, since Peng Shiqiong was detained in the labor camp, they have kept her locked her up in a small cell and tortured her brutally. Her physical health has been destroyed. Because of that, Peng Shiqiong had several illnesses such as high blood pressure. Later, when the family went to visit her again, the guards turned over their ID cards, so that their identities would not be revealed to the public. It shows just how guilty and scared those guards were.

Once, the labor camp wanted Ms. Peng's family to bail her out for medical treatment. They said that she had heart problems. However, when her family had completed the necessary paperworks, the guards reneged on their words and refused to release her.

Her two-year-term is already over, but the authorities at Chongqing Women's Forced Labor Camp still refuse to release her. When her family requested an explanation, the guards claimed that her term had been extended one more month.

I hope that kindhearted people inside and outside of China will pay attention to these vicious deeds committed by Chongqing Women's Forced Labor Camp. Help rescue Peng Shiqiong, who has suffered from all kinds of brutal torture. Help to immediately stop the bloody persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.
