(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioners at Jiepai Town have been subjected to illegal brainwashing; have had money and personal belongings extorted from them; and have been physically abused, beaten, and maligned numerous times. Those responsible for the persecution of practitioners in Jiepai Town are: 1) Gong Pidong, the former Chinese Communist Party (CCP) secretary of the Jiepai Town government, who now has cancer; 2) Lou Shuqing, town governor; 3) Zhai Xiaolin, CCP assistant secretary of Jiepai Town; 4) Song Shufu, assistant town governor; 5) Hu Shoudong, current CCP secretary; 6) Peng Bo, Jiepai Town governor; 7) Gong Maoju, former head of the Jiepai 610 Office; 8) Zhang Debin, current head of the 610 Office; 9) Zhang Wenjia, ex-chief of the Jiepai Town Police Station, and 10) Ma Lin, current chief of the Jiepai Town Police Station. Additionally, the staff members of the Jiepai Town government offices were responsible for coordinating the acts of persecution. The following is only a small sampling of what these people have done to practitioners.

Ms. Liu Xiaolian is 58. She lives in Sijiazhuang Village, Jiepai Town. After she started to practice Falun Dafa, she lived by the principles Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance and treated everyone kindly. She also benefited physically. When she was a youngster, she fell and broke several bones. Her foot was permanently disabled. After she practiced Falun Gong, she became much stronger. Although she still had a slight limp, her foot returned to near normal. It was Dafa that allowed her to lead a normal life. Yet, since July 20, 1999, she has been arrested and detained and her home ransacked many times because she practices this great Dafa. The official responsible for these acts never presented any legal warrants or charges.

On July 20, 1999, Gong Maoju, the former head of the Jiepai Town 610 Office; Zhang Wenjia, the former chief of Jiepai Town Police Station; Yang Xu, the former director of Jiepai Town Police Station, and others extorted 700 yuan from Ms. Liu Xiaolian and her husband. Because they didn't have the money at the time and were two days late in producing it, they were forced to pay another 3,000 yuan.

Around 1:00 p.m. on June 30, 2001, Li Fabin, Xue Yizeng, Shi Lei, and more than ten others broke into Ms. Liu Xiaolian's home. At the time, Ms. Liu Xiaomei, also a practitioner, was visiting Liu Xiaolian. They knocked Ms. Liu Xiaomei to the ground. Then they arrested Ms. Liu Xiaolian and Ms. Liu Xiaomei and took them to the Jiepai Town Police Station.

At Jiepai Town Police Station, Zhang Wenjia, the police chief, used a stick to brutally beat Ms. Liu Xiaolian's head, hips and legs. Ms. Liu felt dizzy and blood ran down her face. She was black and blue all over. She almost fainted from the excruciating pain. Two days later, Li Fabin and others ransacked Ms. Liu Xiaolian's home. They confiscated an electric fan, three small chairs, an iron door, an new screen door, a cart, a table, a small round table, a sewing machine, wheat, three bags of corn flour, a bag of pig food (120 yuan to feed little pigs), dustpan, two hoes, an iron, an aluminum basin, wood, water bucket, some bowls, videotapes of her daughter's marriage, and other personal belongings. They stole everything useful in sight. Additionally, the police extorted 2,000 yuan.

Ms. Liu Xiaolian was detained in the Jiepai Town government courtyard for eleven days. There was a thunderstorm with heavy rain one nights. The police held many practitioners in the yard. Many depraved people took turns kicking the practitioners. Then they ordered the practitioners to hold their arms straight out and to sit with their legs straight on the ground. Practitioners were tortured inhumanly. Other detainees laughed when they saw practitioners' pain. The worst of them was Wang Mingtao, who lives at Sunjiayu Village, Jiepai Town. Ms. Liu Xiaolian's home was again ransacked and they extorted money from her. Her family continued to be harassed. Besides the personal belongings these criminals stole, they extorted over 7,000 yuan.

Ms. Liu Guixiang is 57. She lives in Wanquanzhuang Village, Jiepai Town. Before she learned Dafa, she had stomach pain and kidney disease for over ten years. Medicine and injections did not help. Within only five days into the practice, her illnesses were gone. Neighbors witnessed Dafa's powers because of her recovery from serious illnesses. After July 20, 1999, innocent Ms. Liu was persecuted and her home ransacked many times, just because she lived by the principles "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance."

At the end of 1999, she went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong and restore the reputation of its Teacher and the practice. Appealing is the legal right of every Chinese citizen. On February 1, 2000, Ms. Liu held a "Falun Dafa Is Good" banner at Tiananmen Square. She was immediately arrested by Tiananmen Square police and taken to the Mengyin County Beijing Office. That same day, Lou Shuqing, former Jiepai Town governor; Song Shufu, former Jiepai Town assistant governor; Zhang Wenjia, former chief at Jiepai Town Police Station; and others took Ms. Liu back to Mengyin. They detained her without going through any legal process at the Mengyin County Detention Center.

On February 2, 2000, Ms. Liu was taken to the police station and interrogated. Li Zhiye, female, the former secretary of Political and Legislative Affairs, kicked her. Ms. Liu told Li Zhiye, "You don't arrest criminals and thieves. Why do you want to control good people?" Li Zhiye replied, "Thieves bribe us. You don't bribe us with money."

Ms. Liu was tortured in the Mengyin County Detention Center for one month. She was deprived of food and her freedom. On March 1, 2000, after they had extorted 10,000 yuan, police chief Zhang Wenjia, director Yang Xu, police officer Shi Kuang, and others took her to Jiepai Town Police Station.

At Jiepai Police Station, director Yang Xu asked Ms. Liu Guixiang whether she would continue to practice Falun Dafa. She said, "Yes." Yang Xu brutally beat and kicked her in front of her family. She was beaten for a long time. After she returned home, police officer Shi Kuang and others broke into her home at night. They arrested Ms. Liu again and took her to Jiepai Town for another three months of torture. In addition, they forced Ms. Liu's family to stay in the brainwashing camp.

At that time, other practitioners detained at Jiepai Town included Liu Xiangyi, Zhang Yufeng, Liu Naizhi, Yang Shizhen, Li Yongying, Li Xiurong, Liu Changlian, Liu Changzhong, and Liu Xiaorong. Jiepai Town secretary Gong Pidong, assistant secretary Zhai Xiaolin, and other officials ordered practitioners to clean, plant trees, and pull up weeds during the day and locked them in the parking garage at night. They also refused to let them use the restroom at night.

On April 21, 2004, past 9 p.m., Li Fabin and more than ten cronies broke into Ms. Liu Guixiang's home. They tore apart her house and spread two bags of peanut seeds and wheat noodles allover the floor. They stepped on the seeds and cracked them, so they could not be planted. When the police found incense, which is used for paying one's respects to Gods and Buddhas, they found an excuse to arrest Ms. Liu Guixiang. Li Fabin kicked her viciously. Five or six police officers took her to the police car. The police detained her again in the government buildings courtyard for five or six days.

Ma Lin, Wang Gang, and other police officers at Jiepai Town Police Station beat and insulted the practitioners. They pressured practitioners to turn in their Falun Dafa books and slander their Teacher. Ma Lin and the other officers pulled the practitioners by their hair, which came out in clumps. They forced the women practitioners to wear only underwear and splashed dirty water on their faces. When the practitioners' got wet, they had to sit on the ice-cold concrete floor with their legs straight and their hands holding their toes. They forced the practitioners to sit like that for a day and a night. Then, Liu Xia and another woman watered the concrete floor and forced the practitioners to sit in the cold water for the day and entire night. The practitioners got so cold that they couldn't get up or stand by themselves. Li Fabin was the most vicious of them all. He ordered branches with sharp pricks to be cut, which he used to beat practitioners' faces and shoulders. He demanded that they slander their Teacher. He said, he didn't care and was not afraid that his name was listed publicly on the Clearwisdom website. Yang Xiyou also slapped practitioners' faces and stepped on their knees. The extorted 3,000 yuan from Ms. Liu before she was released.

Over the past eight years, they have extorted 15,000 yuan from Ms Liu Guixiang.

 

Ms. Liu Xiaorong lives in Dongfengqiao Village, Jiepai Town. In 1999, she went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Dafa and was arrested. She was illegally detained at Mengyin Detention Center for one month. They extorted 10,000 yuan from her. A few days after her release, officials from Jiepai Town arrested her again and took her to the Jiepai Town government buildings, where they tortured her for three months. During that time, Jiepai Town secretary Gong Pidong, assistant secretary Zhai Xiaolin, governor Lou Shuqing, assistant governor Song Shufu, and other officials ordered their staff to ransack Ms. Liu Xiaorong's home without a warrant. They stole a black and white television, a carload of wheat (more than 30 bags), a tank full of peanut oil, table, chairs, two sofas, a propane tank, a sewing machine, a little iron cart, a straw chopper, two cows, and much more. They stole everything in sight.

Jiepai Town secretary Gong Pidong, assistant secretary Zhai Xiaolin, and other officials ordered practitioners to clean, plant trees, and pull up weeds during the day, and locked them in the parking garage at night. They didn't allow them to use the restroom at night.

Ms. Liu Xiaorong and other practitioners were detained in the Jiepai Town government building courtyard. No legal procedures were ever followed. There was a thunderstorm and heavy rain one night. The police forced the practitioners to remain in the yard. Many criminals took turns to kick the practitioners. Then they ordered the practitioners to hold their arms straight and sit with their legs straight on the ground. When the practitioners were tortured inhumanly, these criminals just laughed. The worst was Wang Mingtao, who lives in Sunjiayu Village, Jiepai Town.

Around 10:00 p.m. on June 27, 2006, under the command of Cui Huadong, head of the Mengyin County 610 Office, Jiepai Town CCP secretary Hu Shoudong, Jiepai Town governor Peng Bo, police officers from the Jiepai Town Police Station formed four teams. The searched practitioners' homes with no legal warrant. If they found any Falun Dafa materials, they arrested the practitioners. Ms. Liu Xiaorong's home was searched and she was arrested. During her detention at Jiepai Police Station and the Jiepai government building, her house was robbed of everything. Later, she was imprisoned at a forced labor camp for two years. She suffered all kinds of cruel torture in the forced labor camp. She was released in June 2007.

Mr. Liu Xiangyan is 39. He lives in Liuzhuang Village, Jiepai Town. He started practicing Falun Dafa in 1998. Since July 20, 1999, he has been arrested many times and suffered cruel torture. His home had been ransacked many times.

On the evening of February 3, 2000, one of the village officials went to Mr. Liu Xiangyan's home and told him that his nephew and niece had been arrested because they went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. Mr. Liu was asked to go see about them. When he arrived at the Jiepai government, he saw the two kids in the corner, curled up in a ball. Jiepai Town Secretary Gong Pidong, Jiepai Town Police Station Director Yang Xu, and other officials interrogated them without any legal cause. Then, the officials stole Mr. Liu's motorcycle and told him that he was not allowed to leave the house. Mr. Liu understood that they had misled him. He and the two kids spent New Year's Day in the Jiepai government building. Two days later, Liu Xiangyan's brother, Liu Xiangyi, was brutally beaten because his children had gone to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong. Liu Xiangyi's clothes were removed and he was forced to lie on the cold concrete ground during the cold of winter. Police officer Shi Kuang brutally beat him with a big wooden chair.

On February 10, 2000, after 8 p.m., Jiepai Town Police Station Director Yang Xu and others broke into Mr. Liu Xiangyan's house. Mr. Liu Xiangyan asked them what they were doing. Yang Xu replied, "You better be honest with me or I'll handcuff you." They searched every corner of his house. When they left, Yang ordered, "You should report to the police station when your brother comes home." A relative happened to be at his home that night. The relative was so scared that he could not fall asleep that night. These depraved people returned four or five times.

On February 23, 2000, Yang Xu and a group of police and criminals went to Liuzhuang Village. They extorted money from 16 practitioners. Practitioners were forced to pay 700 yuan, but had to pay more if they did not have the money ready with them. Mr. Liu Xiangyan had to pay another 40 yuan, because he paid two hours later. On November 3, 2000, Jiepai Town government officials forced more than 400 practitioners to partake in brainwashing training, which lasted five days, and they had to pay 10 yuan for the training material. At 10:00 am on June 30, 2001, Jiepai Town government official Zhang Chaocai and a group of criminals broke into Mr. Liu Xiangyan's home when there was no one at his home. They ransacked his house and stole a hand-written Dafa book Hong Yin.

At 8:00 p.m. on January 30, 2004, Jiepai Town Police Station Chief Ma Lin, and Jiepai Town 610 Office Assistant Director Yang Xiyou and over 20 men broke into Mr. Liu Xiangyan's home. They rummaged through chests and cupboards and found a set of Dafa cassettes. They used this as evidence to arrest Mr. Liu Xiangyan and took him to the town police station. That night, they returned and searched Mr. Liu's house again.

On the third day, Town Secretary Hu Shoudong, Song Shufu, Zhang Dekun, Shi Zengkun, Management Section Secretary Gong Lin, and 40 criminals took a truck to Mr. Liu's house. They openly robbed Mr. Ku's home. The stole 1,345 yuan, three bank deposit certificates (value: 5,500 yuan), three stock purchase certificates (value: 2,150 yuan), a China postal deposit certificate, a big table, a small round table, a sewing machine, a television, a motorcycle, a propane gas tank, a cook stove, and a set of chests. They actually wanted to steal everything in that house, but once they got their hands on the cash and deposits, they didn't care about anything else. They broke a lot of things.

On February 2, Mr. Liu Xiangyan was released. A few days later, he went to the town's government to ask for his property back. Only the stock purchasing certificates were returned to him.

In the following years, whenever there was holiday, Management Section Secretary Zhang Dekun, Xie Shukun, Police Chief Li Changxiang, Assistant Chief Li Fabing, Director Chen Yuxin, and the town government officials would go to Liu's house to harass and threat the family. The family lived in poverty. Their savings had been stolen, and they didn't have money to repair the roof of their house.

Ms. Wang Fenglan lives in Dongfengqiao Village, Jiepai Town, Mengyin. On the evening of September 14, 2006, Zhang Debin, Wu Jijun, and four others from the Jiepai Town government broke into Ms. Wang's home; ransacked it; and stole precious Falun Dafa materials, exercise audio cassettes and other personal belongings. They arrested Ms. Wang. Zhang Debin called Wang Changshun and Liu Yuanbao to look after her home, but his intention was to monitor her house.

At Jiepai Town Police Station, Zhang Debin forced Ms.Wang Fenglan to sit on the concrete floor with her legs straight and her hands holding her toes. Zhang Debin interrogated her. When she refused to answer, Zhang Debin brutally kicked her and then forced her to sit as before. They kept kicking and pushing her to the floor. Then he pulled her up by her ear. The illegal interrogation lasted a long time. Then, Zhang Debin locked her in a dark little room and ordered her to stand for more than two hours.

On September 15, after 7 p.m., Zhang Debin told Ms. Wang, "Ask your daughter to bring 3,000 yuan." Ms. Wang replied, "It's night. She is a kid. Where could she get so much money?" Zhang Debin said, "You go home. I give you three days. Bring the cash to the town 610 Office or give the cash to me." On September 16, Zhang Debin broke into Ms. Wang Fenglan's home again, extorted 3,000 yuan, and stole a telephone, a new cassette player, two small cassette players, and a nMP3 player. Before he left, he threatened, "I will be back anytime. You wait!"

On September, 17, Zhang Debin spent practitioners' precious money. He went on a drinking binge. On his way home he had an accident. His child was killed instantly. Zhang Debin had broken bones and he was taken to Mengyin County Hospital.
