Practitioner Ms. Zhang Jingxiu from Yi County, Baoding City, Hebei Province Passed Away as a Result of Continuous Police Mistreatment

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Zhang Jingxiu, 38, was a kind woman from a rural area in Peishan Town, Yi County, Baoding City, Hebei Province. She benefited physically and spiritually from practicing Falun Dafa. In January 2001, she went to Tiananmen Square in Beijing to clarify the truth of Falun Dafa. She was illegally arrested in Beijing, and taken to the Yi County Detention Center the next day by Feng Decheng (male) from the National Security Team Police Department of Yi County.

During Ms. Zhang's detention, Zhang Xuegang (male), the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) secretary of the Peishan Town government, brought with him about 30 police officers and other officials from Xijie Village, and broke into Ms. Zhang's home, smashing several doors and windows with hoes and wooden sticks. All the furniture, cooking utensils, dishes and bowls were smashed. The corn, wheat, peanuts, cotton, millet, flour, and cooking oil were all taken away. They also took the metal gate to their yard.

Ms. Zhang Jingxiu's husband was helpless facing the sudden burglary by the CCP officials. All he could do was bury his head in his arms and cry in their courtyard. Ms. Zhang was detained for two months and was released after being extorted out of 2,000 yuan.

Towards the end of March 2003, the government of Peishan Town was conducting a brainwashing session. Ms. Zhang was arrested again and sent to the brainwashing session and was detained there for two months.

Whenever it is a sensitive date for the CCP, Ms. Zhang would be arrested and taken to the Brainwashing Center and forced to do hard labor. She became very ill due to this ongoing abuse, and died in January 2006.
