Taxi Driver Mr. Lu Zuojin from Qianxi County, Hebei Province Tortured

(Clearwisdom.net) On the evening of July 18, 2007, when taxi driver Mr. Lu Zuojin from Xiluzhuang Village, Donghuayuan Town, Qianxi County, Hebei Province was delivering goods, he was beaten by police officers from the Qianxi County National Guard because he was suspected of delivering Falun Gong materials. He was brutally beaten from 9:00 p.m. on July 18 to 8:00 a.m. on July 19.

Chief Zhu Zhengang of the national guard hit Mr. Lu in the mouth more than ten times. As a result, Mr. Lu's ears were ringing and he could not hear anything. At the same time, Zhu also stomped on Mr. Lu's legs and hips. Officer Wang Yinguang viciously struck Mr. Lu in the chest. Several other police also assaulted him. Without any evidence, the police illegally confiscated Mr. Lu's family's property that night. When daybreak was near, Wang Yinguang, He Liansuo, Wang Wei and several other police officers tied Mr. Lu up with rope, which they tightened by inserting and twisting a wooden stick in the rope.

Then He Liansuo, Wang Yinguang and two other policemen dragged Mr. Lu by his hands. They laughed loudly and said, "Let him relax." He experienced pain and numbness at the same time. They tortured him the entire night.

This torture traumatized Mr. Lu. On the morning of July 19, Mr. Lu was illegally arrested on fabricated criminal charges and imprisoned. The pain in Mr. Lu's chest lasted more than one month. He felt some pain even after he was released on bail to await trial 37 days later.

Mr. Lu is an honest and kindhearted cab driver. He encountered such inhuman persecution simply because he delivered goods to people.
