How Policemen and 610 Office Agents in Xinmi City, Henan Province Received Karmic Retribution

Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they too be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

Falun Dafa is for the cultivation of Buddhahood and teaches people to be good and follow the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Since the persecution of Falun Gong began in 1999, many 610 office agents and other evildoers have received karmic retribution. The following happened in Xinmi City.

1. Du Shouren, male, was the head of Xinmi City's Yujia Sub-station. In 2001, he illegally detained many Dafa disciples. He was actively involved in the persecution of Falun Gong, so he incurred karmic retribution after less than six months. He was sentenced to prison after he detained a non-practitioner beyond his term and fired from his job.

2. Yang Hongjun, male, was the former director of the Xinmi 610 Office. He was actively involved in the persecution of Falun Gong. He was fired in 2002.

3. Wang Dachun, male, is a policeman in Xinmi. He beat up the family members of a Dafa disciple in 2001. The Dafa disciple sincerely advised him that he would be rewarded if he treated Dafa well, and he would receive karmic retribution if he was involved in the persecution of Dafa. Wang Dachun did not believe him. He laughed and said, "I have no choice because it is an official order." After a short time, he came down with several illnesses. Because of issues at work, he was arrested and sentenced to prison.

During these past several years, the incidence of death at work or in accidents of officers in police and security forces is much higher than before. Some of them were very young with good health, but suddenly died from strange illnesses. Some of them died from accidents. Many of them got cancer or suffered freak injuries.

The purpose of Falun Gong practitioners' clarifying the truth and handing out truth-clarification material is to stop the persecution. We hope that the policemen in Xinmi City can understand the truth of Falun Gong, treat Dafa well, and treat Dafa disciples well so as to choose a good future for themselves.
