(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioner Zhang Yuemei is from Qiege Village, Zhugou Township; practitioner Li Jihua is from Zhuxi Village; and practitioner Sui Guanghua is from Yujia Village, Yushan Township. On May 21, 2007, policemen from Zhugou Town Police Station and Yushan Town Police Station colluded to illegally arrest the three practitioners. The three practitioners were sent to Pingdu Detention Center and held there for thirteen days. They were then taken to the Second Ward of the Wangcun Women's Forced Labor Camp in Zibo City.
On May 21, Zhang Yuemei, Li Jihua and Sui Guanghua went to the Guojia Village farmer's market. Just after they arrived there, they were seized by plain-clothes policemen with batons. The policemen forced them to sit in a ditch and insulted them in front of people at the farmer's market. The three practitioners didn't get a chance to defend themselves. The policemen lied to the crowd at the farmer's market and told people that the three practitioners had committed fraud. Sui Guanghua saw a person that she knew in the crowd, so she asked that person to help clarify the situation. The policemen were worried that their lies would be exposed, so they rushed the three practitioners to the police station and then sent them to Pingdu Detention Center.
At around noon, several policemen drove to Zhang Yuemei's home. They broke into her home and took away Dafa materials from her home. They then illegally searched Li Jihua's and Sui Guanghua's homes. It was reported that the policemen at the Zhugou Police Station had been targeting the three practitioners for some time. Since the three practitioners clarified the truth to many people in Zhugou Township, many people there know that they are good people. The policemen were worried that arresting them would anger people there, so they set up the plot to arrest the practitioners in a different town.
While the practitioners were held at Pingdu Detention Center, policemen tried to extort money from their family members. They told the family members that if they paid some money, the detention center would release the practitioners in two weeks. Instead, thirteen days after the arrest, the three practitioners were sent to the forced labor camp in Zibo City.
Policemen at Zhugou Police Station made false statements many times. In early January 2006, members of the 610 Office and policemen from the police station took practitioner Xu Jingmei to a bridge on the west end of the village. They forced Xu Jingmei to hold a truth-clarification flier and they video-taped her twice. On January 11, 2006, they took Xu Jingmei to the same bridge and made some video recordings again.
Zhang Yuemei is 53 years old, and the other two practitioners are 70 years old.
