Practitioner Ms. Fan Juncao, 65, Mistreated and Shocked with Electric Batons in the Women's Labor Camp of Gansu Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Fan Juncao, 65, comes from the Gongfan Group, Xinning Town, Ning County, Gansu Province. In November 2005, she was arrested when she was distributing truth-clarification materials in Nanyi Town. She was reported to the Division of Law, the Police Department of Qingyang City, and was sentenced to one and a half years in a labor camp. Ms. Fan was detained in the Women's Labor Camp of Gansu Province where she was mistreated. This is her third illegal detention and sentence.

Ms. Fan Juncao was very happy when she started to cultivate Falun Dafa in 1996, and all her illnesses disappeared. She felt healthy and relaxed. When the Chinese Communist Party started persecuting Falun Dafa, she felt it was wrong and steadfastly stepped forward to validate Falun Dafa. In July 2000 Fan Juncao was detained for 15 days for writing a letter to the deputy party secretary of Qingyang Prefecture, and the head of the 610 Office Liu Wuqing (male, has since died of karmic retribution). The same year, she was sentenced to two years of forced labor for going to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Dafa.

Ms. Fan's term should have ended on May 11, 2007, however, the labor camp extended her term for four more months because she did the Falun Gong exercises in the labor camp. Her family members went to the labor camp to visit her but they were deprived of their right to see her. When Fan Juncao's family prepared to pick her up on September 11, 2007, the guards said her term was extended for 40 more days. Her family asked why she was still detained in the labor camp, and the police said that she shouted words in support of Falun Dafa. They then hung up the phone.

Ms. Fan Juncao steadfastly safeguarded Falun Dafa, and strongly refused to cooperate with the Chinese Communist Party. She was mistreated and deprived of sleep for long periods of time, handcuffed, and shocked with electric batons until her entire body was covered with wounds. Practitioners released from the labor camp said that Ms. Fan is suffering and in grave danger. We hope that the overseas practitioners can help rescue her as soon as possible.
