Two Former Deputy Mayors Awaken

(Clearwisdom.net) I recently chatted with two former deputy mayors of a second-level city that has a population of approximately ten million. In conversation, we naturally mentioned the monstrous crimes that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has committed since it came into power 58 years ago. These two former deputy mayors both talked of their personal experiences. The following is what they said:

1. The CCP does whatever is necessary to reach its goals. It could explain away and trample on and abandon democracy, the current system, law, statutes, and human rights at will and at any time.

2. The social problems in China have become increasingly conspicuous. A crisis of danger prostrates in four corners and public resentment is seething. Popular grievances are openly voiced everywhere. The demise of the CCP can be expected soon.

3. Their greatest desire is to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations and regain their virtuous nature.

A provincial TV media invited these two former officials to speak before the TV audience, but they adamantly refused. They told the reporters with conviction, "Over the past several dozen years, we did not know about the evil things that the CCP was doing. Because of that, at various meetings, we helped a tyrant carry out his evil plans and poisoned the minds of many people. Now we believe that good is rewarded with good, and evil with evil. We will no longer be tools of the CCP." Their words embarrassed the reporters.
