By a practitioner from Missouri

(Clearwisdom.net) On October 27, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners from Missouri participated in the annual Homecoming Parade at Missouri State University.

Missouri State University (formerly Southwest Missouri State University) is in Springfield, Missouri. The college is 101 years old this year.

It was the first time that practitioners participated in the parade at MSU. The spectators warmly welcomed them. Practitioners passed out many flyers and other materials. After the parade, practitioners received phone calls from spectators who wanted to learn the exercises. Many people approached practitioners to ask for more information about Falun Gong.

Practitioners also demonstrated the exercises on campus. Many students and teachers at MSU intently watched the demonstration. Reporters from the university newspaper took photos of the practitioners.
