Mr. Wu Song Died as the Result of Being Tortured in Zhongba Forced Labor Camp in Guizhou Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Wu Song, 43, was a Falun Dafa practitioner living in Rongjiang County, Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province. He was the Wushe Village Chief in Pingjiang Township, Rongjiang County. He was arrested in 2005 for practicing Falun Dafa. He was sentenced to two years of forced labor, which he served in Zhongba Forced Labor Camp. He was tortured in the camp, causing him to suffer from stomachaches and intestinal bleeding. He was near death. The camp administration allowed his family to pick him up at the beginning of June 2007 in order to escape being held responsible for his death. Mr. Wu Song died on October 23, 2007. His father, in his 70s; his wife; and his son are without resources.

The guards in Zhongba Forced Labor Camp inhumanly torture practitioners to try to force them accept brainwashing. Their methods of torture include forcing practitioners to stand for a long time without clothes on in the winter, forcing them to run in the summer with thick jackets on, making them stand for a long time and not letting them sleep, pouring cold water on them in the winter, pouring boiling hot water on their faces, beating them brutally, and forcing them to sniff heroin. Guards Li Jiming, Ming Hong, and Yang Renshou (all male) openly shouted, "It doesn't matter if some practitioners die: we are allowed to have several deaths here." The guards personally torture prisoners and encourage criminal inmates to torture practitioners mentally and physically, promising to reduce the abusers' terms.
