The Highest Score in Seven Exams

(Clearwisdom.net) I began practicing Falun Dafa in 1995. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began its persecution of Dafa on July 20, 1999, while I was on summer vacation after graduating from middle school. My mother, younger brother, and I decided to go to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Dafa, but the police stopped us before we got there and sent us home.

Unfortunately, the education I received from the CCP had poisoned my mind and led me to become silent after the persecution began. My mother went to Beijing to appeal on several occasions and was mistreated each time. Although I supported her actions, I was unable to step forward myself.

When the CCP broadcast the Tiananmen Square self-immolation incident on TV in 2001, however, I could no longer remain silent. I began clarifying the truth to my classmates. I conducted myself according to the principles of the Fa, so I was able to maintain good relations with my classmates, many of whom learned the truth. But a female classmate told me, "You said, 'Falun Dafa is good,' so I am going to report you to the teacher."

Once my teacher and the school authorities learned that I was a practitioner, they tried on many occasions to pressure me into abandoning my belief, and even threatened me with expulsion. But I had made up my mind: I would not give up my belief even if it meant that I could no longer attend school. So my mother and I clarified the truth to them together and told them of the positive changes we had experienced since we began our cultivation. We told them that Falun Dafa was good.

The magnificent power of Dafa was with me as I achieved the highest score in each of the seven simulated college entrance exams my class took during our junior year of high school. After the exams were over, before any of the scores were announced, my classmates asked each other who they thought would come in second, because they knew the top score would be mine. Many of my classmates said to me, "During the past year, you could not possibly have focused on your studies because you were constantly called away from class. How could you find the time and determination to study?" I told them confidently that it was the power of Dafa that had enabled and assisted me, and I clarified the truth to them in detail. Some of them said, "Falun Dafa is so good, I want to cultivate, too."

I bore no hard feelings toward the student who had reported me, and I treated her as if nothing had happened. I told her that Falun Dafa was good and that the CCP was persecuting practitioners. She finally understood the truth and apologized to me.

The power of righteous thoughts and truth clarification defeated the evil forces' attempt to pressure me into giving up my belief under the threat of expulsion from school. The principal even signed my Political Examination Form to indicate that I was "qualified," otherwise I would not have been able to take the college entrance exam. On the surface, the school authorities were using my exam scores to win credit for the school. But in fact, everything had been arranged by our Teacher.

I was the only student from my school who scored high enough on the college entrance exam to attend a four-year college. Moreover, my score was 50 points higher than the next highest score from my school. This too validated the magnificent power of Dafa.
