Ms. Chen Guilian Has Died, Poisoned with Drugs in Baimalong Labor Camp, Hunan Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Chen Guilian was a retired employee of the Jiangbin Machinery Factory located in Xiangtan City, Hunan Province. She began cultivating Falun Dafa in 1997. Her heart disease was cured, and she had been very healthy for the past ten years. However, she died 150 days after being arrested and only 15 days after being bailed out of the labor camp for medical treatment.

On April 26, 2007, she was arrested while passing out truth clarifying materials at the Jindu Market in Zhuzhou City. She was sentenced to one year of forced labor. She was taken by 610 Office agents to be detained in the Baimalong Labor Camp in May 2007. As soon as she arrived there, she was force-fed unknown drugs for more than three months. Drug-addicted prisoners forced the drugs in her mouth. She was bailed out by her family on medical parole on August 17, 2007. She complained of abdominal pain after that.

On September 3, 2007, she was admitted to Xiangtan City Central Hospital. Her family spent more than 100,000 yuan on hospital fees. Doctors said there was too much fluid in her abdomen, and there were toxins in her blood, so they did an operation to filter her blood. The doctor said the operation only took two hours, but because her spleen was damaged and there was so much abdominal fluid, she was not going to make it. Ms. Chen Guilian died at 9:51 p.m. on September 26, 2007 at age 57.

The torture methods used in Baimalong Labor Camp are very evil, such as injecting nerve-damaging drugs, hanging people by their handcuffs from the window frame, brutal force-feeding, forcing practitioners to stand on the legs of an upside-down wooden stool, etc. Under extreme mental pressure and physical torture, some practitioners have appeared to suffer mental breakdowns. The current deputy director, Zhao Guibao (male), and his wife Lu Yongquan, the clinic chief, participate in cruelly torturing many practitioners.
