Please Pay Attention to the Recent Persecution of Ms. Xue Liangyan in Wuhan City, Hubei Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Xue Liangyan is a Falun Gong practitioner employed in a former Steam Turbine Generator Plant in Guanshan District, Wuhan City. She lives in Hukou County. On September 19, 2007, officers from the Tongxin Police Station took her into custody and searched her home. She has been illegally detained in the Erzhigou Detention Center. Recently, the officers signed a fake arrest warrant as a reason to keep her in detention and to trump up charges to sentence her.

Ms. Xue's husband died long ago, so she and her son rely heavily on each other in their daily lives. With the pressures of life, she developed heart disease. Later, she was diagnosed with end stage cervical cancer. The doctor concluded that she would only live for three more months. At that time, she fortunately began to practice Falun Dafa. Through studying the Fa, practicing the exercises, and cultivating her heart to be a good person, she became healthy, younger, and optimistic. All her diseases including cancer vanished. Although she is nearly 50 years old, she looks much younger.

Since July 1999, Jiang Zemin has colluded with the CCP to persecute Falun Dafa. As a direct beneficiary and witness to the goodness of Dafa, Ms. Xue continued to clarify the truth to people.

On the morning of September 19, 2007, after Tongxin Police Station officers broke into her home and took her into custody, they transferred her to the Erzhigou Detention Center, where she remains. Another practitioner at Ms. Xue's workplace and Mr. Chen Yichuan, a practitioner and young faculty member at the Wuchang Campus of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, were also taken into custody. The officers signed a fabricated arrest warrant for Ms. Xue and plotted to sentence her to prison. It is said that Ms. Xue's diseases have relapsed and she is experiencing bleeding from her cervix.

On the same day that Ms. Xue was taken into custody, her son and daughter-in-law, who are not practitioners, were also detained and not released until that night. They were threatened and ordered to report to the police whenever they go outside. As a result, the son did not dare make any contact with other practitioners and was also at a loss about what to do. It is said that he is planning to sell his house to rescue his mother.

We call for all kindhearted people, human rights organizations, and VIPs all over the world not to be deceived by the lies fabricated by the CCP regarding the upcoming Olympic Games and human rights issues. We ask all good people to act in righteous and assertive ways to stop the eight-year-long persecution of Falun Gong in China.
