Follow Master's Fa-Rectification and Do Well What Is Needed

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a practitioner who began practicing Falun Dafa cultivation in 1997. I had various diseases before I obtained the Fa. They have all been removed through Fa-study and practicing the exercises. Every day I have participated in group Fa-study and group exercises. My view of life and the world have been changed tremendously. The Fa's greatness, magnificence, and wonderfulness have helped me realize from the bottom of my heart that Dafa is what I have been looking for for tens of thousands of years. I will follow Master even if I lose my life.

One month before July 20, 1999, we had a regional experience sharing among local assistants. Practitioners felt changes in the situation and had a feeling of being lost, yet we were determined to keep cultivating in Dafa. In December of the same year, other practitioners and I took turns going to Tiananmen Square to validate Dafa. We were arrested by state security agents and detained. I kept doing the exercises and memorizing the Fa in the detention center. At the same time, I clarified the truth about Falun Gong to the guards and the other female prisoners. I told them that Falun Gong was being persecuted, that detaining us was illegal, and that we were innocent. After two months of "illegal detention," I was released. After I returned home, the authorities ransacked my home and extorted 6,000 yuan from me.

My home was also a hotel, and every day numerous travelers came to stay. I behaved according to a practitioner's standard, doing everything according to the principle of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance." I treated customers with compassion and always thought of them first. Utilizing the convenience of my home being a hotel, I clarified the truth to guests and talked with them about my physical and mental improvements after beginning cultivation. We also talked about the wonderfulness of Dafa, as well as Master's requirements to have high morals and always think of others first. I also told them that the CCP and Jiang and his gang staged the so-called "Tiananmen Self-immolation" out of jealousy, in an attempt to defame Falun Gong and to deceive the citizens of China. I also talked about past persecutions in history among the Chinese and the consequences of each persecution with their bloody outcomes, loss of lives, etc. I convinced them that because of all the vicious things the CCP has done, heaven will eliminate the CCP and its members. By quitting the party and its affiliated organizations, one will have a safe outcome. Of the travelers I have talked to, many have quit the CCP and/or its affiliated organizations.

Another practitioner and I once planned to go hang banners at the top of a mountain. After we got everything ready, we went out on the road after dark. On the way there it started to rain, and because it was very dark with graves all over the mountain, the atmosphere was very ominous. I became uncomfortable and fearful of hardships. I wondered what I should do. I thought about it. Should I keep going or go back? I recalled Master's words, "A Great Enlightened One fears no hardship, Having forged an adamantine will"("Righteous Thoughts and Righteous Actions," "Hongyin" II). We reinforced ourselves with righteous thoughts, "We are going to hang these banners on top of the mountain." We sent forth righteous thoughts while climbing to the top of the mountain to hang the banners. Because it rained so heavily, the road became slippery, and we fell down many times. We had to crawl and walk all the way back down the mountain. The other practitioner lost his shoes, and he had to walk home barefooted in the dark.

I have been illegally arrested four times and taken to jail for validating the Fa. In August 2006, because they were offered incentives and bonuses, the police wanted to take me to a brainwashing center, followed by a sentence of two years in prison. After practitioners heard about it and told me the situation, I had to leave home to avoid this persecution. Despite being homeless, I am still doing what a practitioner needs to do. I am a disciple of Dafa during the Fa-rectification period. No matter where we are, we must do well the three things that Master requires of us. Only by doing them are we worthy of Master's salvation and immense compassion. These three things are also our prehistoric vows and obligations.

The above is the story of my path in Fa-validation, but it is still far from meeting Master's requirement.
