Elementary School Teacher Ms. Qi Yunping Faces an Illegal Jail Sentence

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Qi Yunping is a teacher at Sujima Elementary School, Haixing County of Hebei Province. The police there, led by the head of the county social security division, Wang Minghao, arrested Qi Yunping at her home around 9:00 a.m. on July 23, 2007. It is said that the case is currently handed over to the court, and the procuratorate and courts are trying to sentence her to jail.

That day in July, when Qi Yunping was tutoring students at her home, the head of Haixing County Social Security Division, Wang Minghao, led five police and suddenly broke into Ms. Qi's home. They ransacked her home and took away her PC, printer, VCDs and other items. Qi Yunping was arrested and taken to Haixing County Detention Center.

During the whole process, the police didn't show any legal papers. They knew they were in wrong. They later asked the principal, Qi Baochang, of Sujima Elementary School to sign the arrest permit on behalf of Qi Yunping.

Ms. Qi Yunping is 42 years old. In 1998, her broken marriage was mentally traumatic for her. She also suffered multiple diseases such as gallstones, hypoglycemia and others. She once suffered a physical collapse during class. However, since she started to practice Falun Gong in 1998, she understood the meaning of life. She followed the principle of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" and always thought of others first. Her heart was broadened and her mind became clear. The diseases she used to have were gradually eliminated without notice. The pupils in her class achieved excellent grades, for which she gained several city-level and county-level awards.

Such a good teacher is now arrested. Her 13-year-old son is left at home alone. He is an excellent student, but now he suffers a lot without his mother to take care of him.

Head of the Haixing County Police Department, Feng Wei: 86-317-6621329
