A True Story about Picking up a Lost Mobile Phone

Her parents are both Falun Gong practitioners, so they teach her daily to conduct herself according to Falun Gong's cultivation principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance" in order to become a good, selfless person. When Jing Lei encounters people who have fallen prey to the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) hate propaganda against Falun Gong, she feels wounded, but she always explains the truth about Falun Gong to them in a rational and calm manner in order to save them from the same heavenly retribution that the CCP will ultimately encounter.

At around 9:30 p.m., May 21, 2006, when Jing Lei took a taxi home from an after-school learning center, she found an expensive mobile phone in the taxi. Her first thought was, "Oh, it is such an expensive mobile phone. I must return it to its owner as soon as possible." After she got out of the taxi, she didn't even enter her home. She knocked on the window instead to get her mother's attention and said, "I found an expensive mobile phone in the taxi." Her mother asked, "What do you plan to do with it?" Her parents managed to find the owner's phone number and called him. They made an appointment with the owner to return the mobile phone. It was a rainy night.
