By a practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) Not too long ago, many practitioners' businesses in China were confiscated and practitioners were arrested. The police used the occasion of the CCP's 17^th People's Congress Conference to stifle any dissenting voices. They assigned Falun Gong the highest priority. The persecution dates back to July 20, 1999, when all Falun Gong coordinators were arrested, and practitioners all over China were arrested. Some people said, "It is horrible, a horrible tyranny!"

The evil is struggling before its death. Everyone would agree with that. Practitioners know that we shouldn't accept the testing from the old forces, and shouldn't accept the existence of the evil. Every day we send righteous thought to eliminate all the evil that persecutes practitioners. We disintegrate all the ghosts and dark minions, and the evil spirit of the CCP and its evil factors in other dimensions. Master has also asked us to fully disintegrate all the meddling deities who take part in disturbing the Fa-Rectification in the Three Realms, and to fully eliminate the dark nests in prisons where Dafa practitioners are persecuted. Nevertheless, the evil is still quite rampant in certain areas. This has caused some practitioners to be muddle-headed, some to become lax, and some others fearful of difficulties. They are hiding at home and living a "safe cultivation" life.

Does everyone still remember Master having said,

"I've said before that the evil won't stop persecuting even right up until the very end. Even if it's going to end tomorrow, today that evil will still do evil just the same. That's the way things are in the cosmos before the Fa-rectification is done rectifying it. Without going through Fa-rectification it won't become good on its own--how could it turn good without Fa-rectification? Poison is just poisonous, and if you want it to stop being poisonous it can't do that." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A.")

The way some of our practitioners act tells us that they still don't have a clear understanding of Master's words. The evils are surely venomous, but that is no reason for us to ignore personal cultivation.

We practitioners in China don't yet have the conditions to open businesses to validate the Fa and clarify the truth. But we can open businesses for solving practitioner's living problems. Doing our job well is also a way to validate the Fa. By doing so, we not only live in accordance with people's society, but also contribute to solving practitioners' dilemmas regarding earning a living. At the same time we can rationally do the three things well. However, we cannot treat a business as a media center or communication center, by using the excuse "I am not coming in to work. I am coming for cultivation!" Driven by human mindsets, some practitioners could disturb the company's daily operations. If you don't plan to work there, then you shouldn't join the company. Other people need to work. There is another concern - many practitioners don't pay attention to their own safety, nor others' safety.

This time when the widespread arrests of Dafa practitioners occurred, the Communist agents knew exactly which companies were owned by Dafa practitioners, and which were not. They also knew which practitioner's family members were also practitioners, and which were not. When we are not rational, we have already acted outside the limits, and the evil would have excuses to take advantage of our loopholes.

Many practitioners believe, "In this day, how can you only think of making money?" Actually, whenever your thoughts are not righteous, you don't do things well and you don't walk your path well, the evil will come to disturb you. Superficially looked at, it appears they arrest you because you practice Falun Gong, in reality, you were arrested for not doing things well. That would give people a wrong impression that anyone who practices Falun Gong will be caught. It had a bad effect.

We should take note of one particular point. The type of culture Dafa practitioners will leave for the future of the human race is crucially important. All the positive things we do are left for future generations, including the different cultural aspects on the human level. No matter whether Dafa disciples open a business, or teach students, these factors are all included. This shows the great importance of our doing things rationally.

We should not use the existence of evil as an excuse for doing things poorly. Nor should we try to find excuses for our attachments by thinking "even I have attachments, the evil is not allowed to persecute me." The evil is truly become less and less, but our time for saving people is becoming shorter and shorter.
