By a practitioner in the US

(Clearwisdom.net) The New York Holiday Wonders and New Year Spectacular shows are right around the corner. All the preparation work for the shows have reached the final stage. This year, we will have many more shows and a much higher audience capacity. In the meantime, we seem to have encountered some difficulties with ticket sales, which made me ponder.

I thought about the precious times before the persecution of Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, when overseas Fa conferences were held one after another. Within a short period of five months from February 21 to June 26 of 1999, we had the U.S. East Coast Conference, Western U.S. Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference, Australia Falun Dafa Conference, New Zealand Falun Dafa Conference, Canada Falun Dafa Conference, and the Chicago Falun Dafa Conference. Teacher gave lectures at each one of them, to bring each one of us to the level we were supposed to be. Then the persecution began on July 19 and 20. Since then, our cultivation process turned toward the Fa-rectification period. Over the years, whenever I studied Teacher's lectures during that time, I could more vividly feel Teacher's compassion and how complicated the situation was.

Now, the Divine Performing Arts troupe has taken on a tour performing so many shows and going to so many cities. This made me realize that Teacher is urgently trying to save those who haven't obtained the Fa yet, and those who don't know the facts about the persecution and dissolve the obstacles set up by the old forces in New York. We will never be able to understand how profound Dafa truly is, but as a practitioner, I understand that we have to have the strongest determination and give up selfishness and other attachments, in order to achieve what Teacher wants. If those who should be saved miss this opportunity, it may cause damage to the process of the Fa rectification. On the reverse side, if all those who should be saved are really saved, this may be a great starting point for the Fa-rectification in the human realm.

In fact, when our hearts are full of compassion, when we distribute flyers and introduce the Holiday Wonders and New Year Spectacular shows with a pure heart and a clear mind, I discovered that we have many opportunities and so much more time. Each of us has many opportunities and enough time to spare. People are not simply willing to accept our message about the shows, but can easily be moved by our righteous field and thus become peaceful, warm, caring and optimistic. But we don't have much time left, we have to put our hearts together and utilize all the resources and precious time we have to save more sentient beings.
