Knowing That Falun Dafa Is Good Protected Me from Losing My Eyesight in a Serious Accident

In 1997, my mother was very fortunate to have started practicing Falun Dafa. Through the practice, various illnesses disappeared and she could do labor work that she previously could not. When coming back from the military service, I found my mother to be a different person: she was very healthy and was able to take care of the livestock and work the land. I realized Dafa was indeed good. I sincerely told my mother, "Mom, please keep cultivating well. I support you."

Soon afterwards, the CCP started to persecute Falun Gong on July 20, 1999. Both my parents were detained and released. I have been supporting them, and never complained about this. Although I do not practice, I am convinced that Falun Dafa is good, and Falun Dafa is the righteous way.

Now I would like to share a miraculous thing that happened to me on April 30 of this year. I returned to the dorm after work and started to lift a barbell to exercise. When I lifted it for the third time, my hand slipped and the 100+ pound barbell hit my eyes. My face was immediately covered with blood. People around me said my eyelids almost came off and only a tiny piece was still connected. I thought: I will lose my eyes, things are over now! I was very worried. Then I remembered in the past that my mother told me that if any danger occurs, I should recite "Falun Dafa is good" and "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is good." I was calling out "Falun Dafa is good...... my eye......", although I don't remember if I said it out loud or only in my heart. After a while, I tried to look at things, but it was all dark and I could not see anything. After arriving at the hospital, the doctor said the eyeball was bleeding so he could not examine it. He suggested to first stitch on the eyelid. He also said the eyeball was broken, and they needed to wait for the bleeding to stop before conducting a detailed examination. In the end, he prescribed some anti-inflammation pills. At that time, my mother called me on the phone and said, "After stitching whatever fell off, you do not need so many examinations. Please recite 'Falun Dafa is good, and "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance" is good' some more. It will work if you recite from your heart. Please do not worry." After returning home from the hospital, I recited from my heart "Falun Dafa is good" over and over again--since there was nothing else I could do. I kept reciting for almost the entire night. The next morning, I was able to open my swollen eye a little bit, and could see some light. I was very excited and almost called out "My eyes are fine! Falun Dafa is good!" -but my face was too swollen for me to speak aloud. In this way, my eyes became better day after day. On the seventh day when the stitches were removed, I could recognize all the colors. My eyes recovered although I did nothing except stitching on the eyelids and took anti-inflammation pills for two days. It was indeed miraculous that a 100+ pound weight hit my eyes and the eyeballs are now fine. It is my deep belief that knowing "Falun Dafa is good" restored my eyesight.
