New York: State Assemblyman James Tedisco Issues a Citation Offering Good Wishes, Praise and Continued Blessings to the 2007 NTDTV Holiday Wonders Show

(Clearwisdom.net) NTDTV's Holiday Wonders performed by the Divine Performing Arts will be shown on December 18-26, 2007, at the Beacon Theatre, 2124 Broadway, New York City. New York State Assemblyman James N. Tedisco issued a citation offering good wishes, praise and continued blessings to New Tang Dynasty Television and Divine Performing Arts for its 2007 NTDTV "Holiday Wonders" show at New York City's historic Beacon Theatre. Below is the text of the citation.

Whereas, the State of New York is proud of its commitment to dance, theater, and the performing arts, and celebrates the artists and musicians who improve the cultural diversity of our community; and

Whereas, China was once known as the "Land of the Divine," a nod to its rich cultural and spiritual heritage, where beauty and grace informed its artistic culture in countless ways; and

Whereas, today, despite its current communist rule, China's diaspora continues this grand tradition of music, dance, and art for audiences worldwide, returning the arts and values which have shaped this country's 5000-year history; and

Whereas, New Tang Dynasty TV (NTDTV) and its production partner Divine Performing Arts are keeping this artistic tradition alive through live performances blending orchestral arrangements, dance, lush scenery, and gorgeous costumes, invoking ancient technique while capitalizing on modern technologies for a truly stunning visual display; and

Whereas, traditional Chinese culture, the "Land of the Divine," can once again be experienced by international audiences, and the names of such eminences as the Qing Dynasty and Manchurian Court are revived for successive generations to marvel and enjoy; now therefore be it

Resolved, that the State of New York and its citizens, in conjunction with the Assembly Republican Conference and its esteemed Leader, James N. Tedisco, offer good wishes, praise and continued blessings to

New Tang Dynasty Television and Divine Performing Arts

for its 2007 NTDTV "Holiday Wonders" show at New York City's historic Beacon Theatre.
