Details About The Persecution of Ms. Shen Yanhui, a Teacher in Zhangbei County, Hebei Province

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Shen Yanhui, a teacher at Hailiutu Township, Zhangbei County in Hebei Province, began to practice Falun Gong in July 1998. On July 20, 1999, Jiang's regime began to persecute Falun Gong.

Her mother-in-law, another practitioner, has been arrested several times. In March, 2000, Ms. Shen wrote a letter to Li Dianxian (male) who was then the secretary of the Communist Political and Judiciary Committee. She explained the real situation of Falun Dafa and defended her mother-in-law's innocence. As a result, Li Dianxian ordered government agents to seriously harass Ms. Shen.

The Chinese Communist Party secretary of Hailiutu Township, Hao Xiping (male) went to Ms. Shen's work place over 20 times to talk to her. He told Ms. Shen that she would have to give up her faith in Falun Dafa and threatened her that she would lose her teaching job if she did not comply. Hao assigned a government informer to watch Ms. Shen every day.

Zhao Dongsheng (male), the head of the Hailiutu Township Police Station, ordered Ms. Shen's husband to threaten her with divorce in order to force her to give up her faith.

Finally, Ms. Shen Yanhui quit her teaching job on December 25, 2000, because she could no longer endure the constant harassment and pressure.
