By a group of Falun Gong practitioners in northeastern China

Greetings, revered Teacher! Greetings, fellow practitioners!

We are Falun Gong practitioners in a small border town in northeastern China. Under Teacher's tutelage, we have been cultivating ourselves according to the Fa's standard, doing the Three Things well, and spreading the word about the beauty of Falun Gong and facts about the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) suppression of Falun Gong.

On the evening of July 28, 2007, seven local practitioners were distributing truth-clarification materials in a farming village when a villager with misunderstandings about Falun Gong reported them to the local police. The police illegally arrested two practitioners and took them to the city's State Security Team (SST). When fellow practitioners who had stayed home that night heard about the arrests, they immediately started to send forth righteous thoughts frequently to disintegrate the evil beings from other dimensions responsible for the arrest. A practitioner called on the captain of the SST and explained the true situation about Falun Gong to him. Another called on the father of the chairman of the local 610 Office and explained the truth about Falun Gong to him. One practitioner accompanied the arrested fellow practitioners' family members to the local Political and Legal Committee and the local 610 Office to clarify the truth. Another practitioner called on the deputy chief of the Public Security Bureau (PSB) at his home and clarified the facts to him. Another practitioner accompanied the arrested fellow practitioners' family members to the PSB, explained the truth to the captain of the SST, and demanded that he release the two practitioners.

At first the policeman on duty refused to sign us in. We had a discussion to enhance our understanding on the Fa. We remembered that Teacher said,

"If you are not afraid, the factor that would make you afraid will cease to exist." ("Eliminate Your Last Attachment(s)" in Essentials for Further Advancement II)

Because of this passage of the Fa, we managed to eliminate our fear and disintegrate the evil beings obstructing us from signing in.

We humbly asked Teacher to reinforce our righteous thoughts so that we could enter the PSB. The police on duty saw that he couldn't stop us, so he didn't ask us to sign in. Ten fellow practitioners and I could then enter the PSB at will to clarify the true situation of the persecution of Falun Gong to the three department heads in charge, including the deputy chief of the PSB, as well as the captain and deputy captain of the SST. The 11 of us went to the PSB daily to send forth righteous thoughts and clarify the truth to the three department heads face to face. Later the captain of the SST started to avoid us.

On the morning of August 9, eight local practitioners were clarifying the facts to the captain of the SST when the captain called four policemen over to pull the practitioners out of the office. They had no fear and together they sent forth one unified thought, "The police will not be able to move us even in inch. We shall disintegrate the evil's persecution." It turned out that the police were not able to move them at all. They were astonished by the practitioners' divine strength and fled from the office in fear.

That afternoon other local practitioners gathered at the first floor of the PSB to send forth righteous thoughts. An elderly woman was sending forth righteous thoughts on the first floor when Captain Wang of the SST entered the building and saw her. He immediately turned around and walked out in an attempt to avoid her, but she ran to stop him in order to clarify the truth. She tripped and accidentally grabbed the captain's legs as she fell forward. Captain Wang was startled and called out for help. About six officers ran over and pulled the practitioner off him. Captain Wang opened the door, ran out of the building, and quickly disappeared.

We have been persevering in rectifying our each and every thought, word, and action according to the Fa. When we see a problem in a fellow practitioner, we first reflect on ourselves and ask ourselves if we have failed to comply with the Fa in any way. This is a wonderful thing. We feel as though we have restored the group cultivation environment that Teacher arranged for us before July 20, 1999. We study the Fa in a group and bask in the Buddha light of Falun Gong; hence, we are able to upgrade our respective xinxing levels quickly. The elderly practitioner wrote on a large white sheet, "My husband was arrested because he practices Falun Gong and follows Falun Gong's cultivation principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance." She posted the message in a window facing the street. A lot of passersby stopped to read the message. Some even read it aloud.

Later the PSB told us that Captain Wang had taken a month off. We immediately saw through their lie, but we continued to clarify the truth at the PSB. We divided into two groups. We used the excuse of looking for Captain Wang to travel from one office to another, from the top floor (the fourth floor) down, and clarified the truth about Falun Gong in every office in the PSB. We asked everyone there to remember that Falun Gong is good and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" is good.

We clarified the truth in every room from the fourth floor all the way down to the first floor. Every day there were practitioners at the entrance of the PSB to clarify the truth to the policemen and passersby and to try to persuade them to withdraw from the CCP and/or its Youth League and Young Pioneers. Every day there were people withdrawing from the CCP and/or its affiliated organizations right outside the PSB building. One day a practitioner clarified the truth to a policeman who had come to the PSB for official business, but the policeman was so frightened that he withdrew back into the taxi and asked the driver to put up the window and take off right away. When we explained the truth at the PSB, we asked them to release the arrested practitioners. Each one told us, "I don't make decisions." We responded, "That's right. You don't make decisions, but Falun Gong's Teacher does." They immediately agreed, "That's right. That's right. Falun Gong's Teacher makes decisions."

One day several practitioners and I went see the captain of the SST. Just as soon as we reached the door, a policeman in the room saw us and shouted out, "Falun Gong is good!" We also shouted in return, "Falun Gong is good!" Because the captain was not in the room, he opened the door and started talking to us. He raised a lot of questions and we explained the truth to him. We must have talked for about 30 minutes. We intentionally spoke loudly to attract the attention of the officers in other rooms. Indeed, they came over and listened to our conversation. When we left, the policeman pointed at us and said to his colleagues, "They all practice Falun Gong."

We realized that the local prison is an evil den where the evil persecutes Falun Gong practitioners and it ought to be disintegrated. Hence, we started sending forth righteous thoughts in close proximity to the prison.

One afternoon the 11 of us arrived at the door of the local prison to send forth righteous thoughts and clarify the truth. (The oldest practitioner among us is 67 years old and the youngest is only eight.) After we clarified the truth to the two men in the front office of the prison, they told us to go to the PSB to ask for the release of our fellow practitioners. We told the police officers and civilians that came to the prison to remember "Falun Gong is good." Two people who came to visit a relative decided to withdraw from the CCP and/or its two affiliated organizations immediately after we clarified the truth to them. The prison guards were frightened. They had three men guarding the front door. A prison guard with a machine gun was flanked by two prison guards, each with a club in hand. Another two guards came out later. Finally, an entire team of guards came out to jog and do physical training. We targeted them when we sent forth righteous thoughts. We clarified the truth from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. before we left.

During this time we repeatedly exchanged our insights and searched inward. We each identified many attachments and human thoughts, including being attached to certain results, holding grudges, positive and negative feelings towards fellow practitioners, lack of composure, lack of patience, anxiety, etc. We all realized that we ought to eliminate these bad human thoughts and that we should cultivate, rectify and cleanse ourselves according to the Fa, do the Three Things well, and catch up with the progress of the Fa-rectification.
