On November 5, 2007, the Jiamusi City Intermediate Court issued a judgment on Ms. Cui Shenyun's appeal, without a trial, upholding the original sentence made by the Xiangyang District Court. Ms. Cui, a Falun Gong practitioner, has already appealed to the Heilongjiang Province Superior Court.

At around 4:00 a.m. on November 14, 2007, guards from the Jiamusi City Detention Center took Ms. Cui to Harbin Women's Prison in Heilongjiang Province.
