Retribution for a Party Secretary Involved in Persecuting Falun Gong
(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' note: In both Western and Chinese cultures,
the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable
for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun
Gong is the characteristic of the universe,
"Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward acts
that are in harmony with this principle, while doing things such as beating,
torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another
way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due
retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of
this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who
persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law
requires that they, too ,be held responsible for their actions, and that only by
reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution. Retribution for a Party Secretary Involved in Persecuting Falun Gong Qiao Yu, the former Party secretary of the street committee in Jinzhou City,
was instrumental in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners when he was the street
secretary of the Majia area of Jinzhou City. He plotted and planned behind the
scenes while Liang Xingwu and Ren Jinsheng carried out his orders. They extorted
money from practitioners in order to reach a financial quota. Later, he took the
position of street secretary in the Railway department of Jinzhou City. He
claimed in public at a conference that he relied on extorting money from Dafa
practitioners to reach the financial goals during his term in the Majia area. On August 20, 2002, practitioner Mr. Liu Zhi was tortured to death, leaving
behind his little girl. His distraught family qualified for financial aid, and
when they applied for it, a conscientious policeman was sympathetic toward them
and tried to help. But Qiao Yu rejected their application. Soon after that, Qiao Yu suffered appendicitis with serious complications and
almost lost his life. People talked among themselves in private. They felt that
he had received retribution because he persecuted Falun Gong practitioners. In August 2007, Qiao Yu was eventually interrogated and his house was
confiscated due to his crimes of bribery. A large amount of money was found and
taken away from his home. Later he was placed under house arrest and has now
been transferred to Panjing to be isolated and further interrogated. Police Officer Liu Junpei from the Longchi Security Office in Emeishan City
Suffers Retribution Liu Junpei was a police officer at Longchi town of Emeishan City, Sichuan
Province. He followed orders from Jiang's regime and tortured Falun Gong
practitioners. He ransacked their homes and followed and arrested several of
them. He sent three practitioners to a forced labor camp. Despite his
wrongdoings, practitioners still compassionately asked him to stop committing
crimes like this. In 2007, he retired. Practitioners once again told him to
withdraw from the CCP to save his own life. However, he did not listen. In
September, he was diagnosed with late stage leukemia. He died one week later. November 8, 2007
