Falun Gong Introduced in Rural Schools in India (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Early the morning of November 30, 2007, we got up
early to take the bus to a village school, Sri Adichunchanagiri
Mahasamsthama moth in Bangalore. Since it was the first time to introduce Falun Gong to this school, we met
with the founder of the school.? We sat together with about ten others on
the floor of the founder's room. We learned from conversation with him that he
had an English version of Zhuan Falun, but had not read it. We discussed
concepts of cultivation with him and suggested he read the book to learn more.

primary school, middle school, high school, and college. The total number of
students is over two thousand.? Teachers of each class led students to
stand in line to learn the Falun Gong exercises in two batches. Practitioner Suren Rao introduced Falun Gong briefly. Other practitioners
stood in line in front and demonstrated the exercises to the exercise music. The
students followed the practitioners' gradual and peaceful hand gestures. The
result was very good. After leaving Sri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthama moth, the bus went to SRI
K.V. English School. The school is over one hundred kilometers away from
Bangalore. There were eight hundred students. The school has nice scenery. The
teachers and students were very warm. The president said within three weeks, the

exercises in three weeks. After practicing Falun Gong, they felt very well and
would continue. Though most students had an exam that day, not all could
participate in group practice. The president asked students from one or two
classes to have a group practice. After a teacher called the students to the drill ground, practitioners from
Taiwan and Malaysia demonstrated the exercises on stage and some of them
corrected the hand gestures of students. It was sunny and clear like summer. The
students followed the music to practice the exercises. Their movements were in
order and looked good. The teacher stood beside and gave instructions. The president said that the
practice was very worthwhile spreading, and that all teachers and students
should practice in their spare time. Sometimes, the whole school met for group
practice.
