(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' note: In both Western and Chinese cultures, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward acts that are in harmony with this principle, while doing things such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.Li Jianhua, Former Head of Songlin Police Station in Linqing City, Shandong Province

Li Jianhua, male, 40 years old, was the former head of Songlin Police Station. Later he became director of Linqing Detention Center. He was active in the persecution of Falun Gong. He developed liver cancer and spent hundreds of thousand yuan on a liver transplant. (The source of donor liver is unknown. Were it harvested live from a practitioner by the CCP, it would be an additional crime.) Recently, there were signs of rejection of the donor liver, and Li Jianhua is in constant pain.

Xu Yuhe was the former Party branch Secretary in Shichao Village of Linqing, Shandong Province. Xu Yuhe used to publicly slander Falun Gong using a megaphone. Soon afterwards, both Xu Yuhe and his son died violent deaths.

Xuan, male, 46 years old, was the head and Party Secretary of Kaishantun Town in Longjing City of Yanbian, Jilin Province. He was responsible for the arrests of many practitioners. In late October 2007 he died of a sudden brain hemorrhage.

Zhao Boyan was head of the Education Department of Balinzuo County. He persecuted practitioners many times and even cut off Mr. Wu Guohui's pension, leaving him nothing to live on. Practitioners "clarified truth" to him many times, but he did not listen. On November 1, 2007, Zhao Boyan died at the age of 39. Examinations prior to his death did not uncover the cause of death.

Li Guo is an Assistant County Head in charge of education. He was once the Political and Judicial Committee Party Secretary. During that time he personally ordered the arrests of practitioners and sent them to forced labor camps. After he became the county head in charge of education, he continued to persecute practitioners in the educational system. Recently he had a brain hemorrhage and is in critical condition.

Wang Xueshuang, male, 48 years old, lives in Qianyang Village in the Hongdao Community of the Chengyang District in Qingdao City, Shandong Province. Since July 20, 1999, he has been closely following the Jiang regime to persecute Falun Gong. He was once the village Party Secretary and Village Head. Wang was very arrogant and once said he would help "to completely eliminate Falun Gong" when reporting to higher authorities. He led thugs to practitioners' houses to harass and intimidate them. They confiscated and destroyed books, imposed fines, etc. He also made up lies to create mistrust between practitioners.

After the persecution of Falun Gong started, Wang was the Party Secretary for only eight months before he was removed from the post. After that, his business failed and he was saddled with illnesses. He has had two major operations and now has to cope with unrelenting pain.

Chen Laowu lives in Bashan Plant in Shiqiaopu, Chongqing City. He closely followed Jiang's regime to persecute Falun Gong and often followed and monitored practitioners. Later Chen Laowu suffered from heart disease and almost died. He then had surgery to replace his heart and survived, but he continued to persecute practitioners. On October 2, 2007, his son, Chen Zhengxuan, jumped from the fifth floor of a building for unknown reasons and died.
