The Importance of Supporting Holiday Wonders with Our Righteous Thoughts

(Clearwisdom.net) I still remember vividly the lessons learned from the "Beyond the Red Wall" matter. When I first heard the news that the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) was to broadcast "Beyond the Red Wall," my first response was excitement of an everyday person. I was elated, because after eight years of persecution, finally a national broadcasting corporation planned to show a program that revealed the suppression of Falun Gong practitioners. I never thought about how this positive news was a result of Canadian practitioners' efforts, as well as Dafa practitioners' truth clarification efforts all over the world. The fact that practitioners in China also knew about this meant that this was an opportunity for us to elevate our xinxing and send forth righteous thoughts to support this event.

However, at that time I did not take this matter as my own. I just considered it something Canadian practitioners were working on. So I just waited excitedly, without sending forth righteous thoughts.

Because practitioners as a whole did not do enough in sending forth righteous thoughts to support this matter, the evil interference kicked in. The CBC then decided not to broadcast this program. I was shocked but still did not awaken to my attachments. Later I learned that the CBC had reversed its decision after further truth clarification by local practitioners and under pressure from various communities. Still I failed to send forth righteous thoughts for this event. Again I thought everything was just fine.

However, without support from Dafa practitioners around the world, this matter did not end in an ideal fashion. When I learned that the CBC had removed many important sections of "Beyond the Red Wall," I finally realized that it was the numbness of many practitioners, including myself, that resulted in such a consequence. If all practitioners can realize that we are one body and that we will participate in all events during Fa-rectification by sending forth righteous thoughts, then the end results will be completely different.

I have come to realize that whether or not Dafa practitioners can act as one body will directly determine our cultivation realm and our pace in catching up with Teacher's Fa-rectification process. If we do not divide ourselves by geographic regions or projects we are involved in, we should be able to at least send forth righteous thoughts to support projects that we cannot participate in physically.

At present, there is a lot of interference with ticket sales for the Holiday Wonders show. In my opinion, lacking the sense of one body and focusing too much on individuals is the major reason. How can such a grand-scale Fa-rectification project, directed by Teacher to save sentient beings, be successful if we fail to treat it with righteous thoughts?

Dafa particles are one body. We must achieve the state of selflessness if we want to reach Consummation. If we do not actively participate in the Holiday Wonders show, or fail to support it with righteous thoughts, how far are we from the requirement of being selfless?

The most important task for us is to save sentient beings. Whether or not we can do it well depends on whether or not we can elevate our realm. The evil interference specifically targets our loopholes. If we do not want to change the acquired notions in our mind, how can we stop the evil from interfering with us? So many practitioners are indifferent to and couldn't care less about the Holiday Wonders show. Isn't this a manifestation of selfishness? How can tickets sell well in such circumstances?

As for practitioners in China, do we consider ticket sales part of our truth clarification work? Or we just think it's the business of overseas practitioners only? If we do not even want to participate in such a project directed by Teacher, haven't we failed to meet the requirements of the Fa? Isn't it obvious why the evil is interfering with us? If all practitioners (especially those in China) treat this project as part of our own truth clarification work and support it with righteous thoughts, the evil will disintegrate in no time.

I ask all practitioners to please support the Holiday Wonders show ticket sales with righteous thoughts. This does not only affect the salvation of sentient beings, but also is a requirement for us to elevate our realm.
