Teacher's Hints to Look Within

(Clearwisdom.net) At the beginning of October 2007, I submitted a cultivation experience sharing article. I mentioned in one paragraph how one could deal with family conflicts. When I wanted to write something about my wife's behavior, my computer screen flashed and then the page turned blank. I opened the document and found that the paragraph about my wife had disappeared. I spent half an hour retyping the information, and the same thing happened again. I was so annoyed that I turned the computer off. I opened my document sometime later and the same thing happened again. I tried to retype the paragraph, but my mouse refused to cooperate. I rebooted and only the sentence I had retyped was recovered.

I couldn't believe this was happening over and over, but only when it came to information about my wife. Then, I suddenly remembered Teacher's Fa teaching:

"Cultivate yourselves. I don't want the environment Dafa disciples have to become one in which people point fingers at each other. I want the environment to be one in which everyone can accept criticism and at the same time look inside themselves. If everyone cultivates himself, everyone looks within, and everyone cultivates himself well, won't the conflicts be few?" ("Teaching the Fa in the City of Los Angeles," February 25, 2006)

I wrote my sharing but blamed my wife instead of looking within. I should not use others' shortcomings to hide my own weaknesses. Our cultivation environment should not be a finger-pointing environment. We can only progress when we let go of attachments. I came to understand that writing experience sharing articles is also cultivation, so I deleted the sentence criticizing my wife. I had no more problems with the computer. I feel that Teacher checks to see if we truly behave like practitioners. He won't allow me to write anything that is not true cultivation.

I realized that Minghui/Clearwisdom articles are a sharing among practitioners and also a way to record the diligence of our cultivation. I sometimes doubted that this was true sharing among practitioners. After experiencing the above, however, I will never again doubt the truth of Dafa practitioners' articles. Maybe there are some weaknesses, but if we believe something not to be true cultivation improvement, we should point it out. We need to share. We all are cultivators and all of us need to improve.
