By a practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) I became a practitioner two months before the persecution started. Right after I started practicing, my body felt light and comfortable and my legs healed. For this I was very grateful to Master.

After the persecution started, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) made up a big lie as an excuse to justify its persecution of Dafa practitioners. We had no choice but to do our best to clarify the truth. Whenever people failed to understand the facts and maligned Dafa, I felt sorry for them. I clarified the truth during the day and I posted materials at night in the marketplaces and streets. One time I saw a police vehicle outside of the marketplace. When I walked close to the vehicle, I heard someone fighting inside the car. I realized that it was Master trying to warn me not to get close to the car, so I went elsewhere to post. Meanwhile, the police shone a flash light directly on me, but I sent forth righteous thoughts and they could not see me. After I posted all of my materials, I went home.

On one occasion, when I went out to post truth-clarifying materials during the day, a policeman was there waiting for me. I was arrested and taken to a detention center. All my family members came to see me. My younger sister cried and said, "Sis, all you have to do is sign the "guarantee statement" and you can get out." I said, "You can write it, but I will never do that." Consequently, my sister did write a guarantee letter. Later I went home and shared with fellow practitioners and realized that I did not study the Fa well and let Master down. Because of my attachments, the minute I got back home, everyone monitored me and did not let me go out. I jumped over the wall to go out and clarified the truth anyway.

Because I was not rational and failed to understand the Fa clearly, I was arrested three times in 2003. The second time I was arrested, I went on a hunger strike for ten days, and with Master's protection I got out of the detention center.

One day in 2004, I was arrested and taken to a detention center while I was clarifying the truth in front of the town hall. I sent righteous thoughts every hour in the detention center and clarified the truth to the police. Later I was sent to a brainwashing center. Once I was in the brainwashing center, I immediately sent righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil. One policeman said, "If you try to talk anyone into quitting the party, you will be executed." I said, "Get out!" and he ran off. The next day, a group of people tried to force-feed me. I thought, "I am a Dafa disciple and I will negate everything that was arranged by the old forces." When they inserted the feeding tube into my stomach, I thought, "I have Master, and the Fa, the boundless Buddha Fa by me, and the tube cannot stay in my stomach." Sure enough, the tube miraculously backed out. They could not do anything but take me to a hospital. All my family members came to reason with the police. My husband said, "Look, you have tortured her to this point. I am going to take you guys to court. We are going to take her to another hospital." So, I got out of the brainwashing center.

After I returned home, I realized that I did not understand the Fa well. I understood it emotionally but not rationally. Because I did not understand the Fa from the standpoint of the Fa and went to extremes, I was being persecuted.

During the past few years, through group study I recognized my shortcomings and clarified the truth rationally, saving sentient beings. I have clarified the truth wherever there were people. Master said,

"Validate the Fa with rationality, clarify the truth with wisdom, spread the Fa and save people with mercy..." ("Rationality" from Essentials for Further Advancement II")

I am going to follow what Master said. One time when I was clarifying the truth in the marketplace, within a group of people surrounding me, one person said, "Your husband is supported by the Party and the Party gives you money. However, you are against the Party. I am one who watches Falun Gong and I am going to report you. Do you believe me?" I thought to myself, "I am saving sentient beings. Whatever you say does not count." I sent righteous thoughts and my heart stayed calm. I continued talking to the group, "Have you read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party? Everything stated in it is true. The Party will not pay out of its pocket. It is us who support the Party officials. The Party will not give you even one penny." No one said another word.

One time I went to a village to persuade people to quit the party and I gave a booklet to a young fellow. After he took the booklet, he said, "I am a policeman, please come with me." I was not moved and said, "Never persecute Falun Gong practitioners. We are here to save people and we cultivate ourselves according to Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance. The Communist Party persecutes Falun Gong practitioners and is committing a crime." While talking to him, I also sent righteous thoughts. After ten minutes he said, "I understand now, and I am not a policeman, either." Then he told others, "Come and quit the Party and its affiliated organizations! Then you will be safe." Thus, they all quit the party and its organizations and chose a bright future for themselves.

I have walked the path that Master arranged for me during the past few years. My home environment has been rectified and my husband now actively passes out flyers, posts truth-clarifying materials, and gives me money to produce more materials. When four of our relatives were ready to go abroad, none of them understood the truth or had quit the party. I was quite anxious, but Master arranged an opportunity for me. One day they all came to our home and I clarified the truth to them and helped them to quit the party and its affiliated organizations. In the end, they thanked me and I told them to thank our Master.

On the path of Fa-rectification, I have clarified the truth, helped people to quit the party, and saved many people. They are ordinary citizens, mayors, party secretaries, and even directors. I have treated them all the same: I let them read the Nine Commentaries and quit the party.
