(Clearwisdom.net) Today's report relates persecution incidents that involve 21 cities or counties in 14 provinces. Forty Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during detention, and at least 15 practitioners were "illegally arrested".

Police from the Jing'an Police Station illegally arrested Ms. Huang Du from Jing'an Town in the Doumen District of Zhuhai City on the afternoon of November 27, 2007. Her home was ransacked. She is currently detained in the 3rd Detention Center.

On the afternoon of December 5, 2007, Zhao Dongsheng and police from the Botou City Police Department came to Mr. Qi Zhirong's home in two police cars. They ransacked his home.

Ms. Zhou Chengmin was arrested on June 20, 2006 and sentenced to 1 year and 5 months of forced labor. She was taken to the Banqiao Women's Forced Labor Camp in Tianjin City. Her legs are swollen from the torture and she is barely able to eat anything. She is extremely weak. She was scheduled to be released on December 19, 2007.

Mr. Zhao Lin from Yinchuan City disappeared on the evening of November 16, 2007. It has been confirmed that police arrested him. He is detained in the Yinchuan City Detention Center.

Mr. Zhao Lin is an employee of the Xibe Bearing Factory in Yinchuan City. In mid-May of 2006, he was reported to local authorities when clarifying the truth of Falun Gong. Police from the Xixia Police Station of Yinchuan City arrested him and sentenced him to one year of forced labor. He is detained in the Nixia Forced Labor Camp.

Mr. Huang Gang from Fushun City was arrested and detained in Shenyang City's 2nd Prison. He joined the hunger strike on December 3 to protest the torture suffered by Mr. Zhang Peng and Mr. Meng Hua. On December 5, he was carried to the hospital by the prison guards.

In September 2007, several practitioners were arrested in the towns of Nong'an County. Four practitioners from Gaojiadian were sentenced to forced labor but staff at the forced labor camp refused to accept them due to their poor health. The local police extorted money from their families. They are still detained.

Ms. Li Zhonghua and Ms. Wang Fengying from Hailin City were arrested on October 10, 2007 and are detained in the Harbin City Women's Prison.

After 7 o'clock on the morning of November 24, 2007, Mr. Kong Fanxiao was posting truth-clarifying materials about Falun Gong. He was reported to the Fumin Police Station by a policeman named Li Jianjun. Police Chief Li Chunhua ordered his arrest and detained him. Shortly after, he was taken to the Fushun City Detention Center in Nangou.

Around 9 o'clock on the morning of December 5, 2007, Wang Wu, police chief of the Shiqiao Police Station in Faku County, Shenyang City and a group of policemen arrested Ms. Xiao Xia (29 years old). They confiscated her personal computer and other belongings totaling over 30,000 yuan. Ms. Xiao Xia was transferred to Shenyang City by staff from the Faku County 610 Office and the National Security Team of the county police the same morning. Her whereabouts are unknown.

On November 5, 2007, Ms. Xuan Zhaoru, Ms. Wang Guohua, and Ms. Liu Shihua from Yushu City were distributing Falun Gong materials in the Dahua Residential Area of Yushu City. They were arrested by a group of officials led by Zhang Deqing from the Yushu City's National Security Team. They are currently detained in the local detention center.

On November 9, 2007, police from the Zhanqian Police Station arrested Ms. Tian Yumei and Ms. Cheng Xiaohua near the Development District. They are detained in the local detention center.

Ms. Tian Yumei, Ms. Wang Guohua, Ms. Liu Shihua were released on December 4. Ms. Xuan Zhaoru, Ms. Xiong Guirong, Ms. Wang Tingzhen, Ms. Lu Xianfeng and Ms. Cheng Xiaohua are still detained in the detention center.

Ms. Pan Xiufen (60 years old) is a resident of Sandao Township of Yingjun Town, Changchun City. She had been harassed and tortured by staff from the local 610 Office. On December 3, 2007, she passed away. Guards in the Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp tortured her husband Mr. Hou Zhenkun, also a practitioner, in 2002. He is paralyzed from the torture and has not been able to take care of himself.

The Xinjie Neighborhood Committee of Yancheng City published on their public board materials slandering Falun Gong for the third time .

Ms. Wang Xirong was reported to authorities for distributing Falun Gong materials. Li Zhanbin from the local National Security Team arrested her. She was sentenced to 2 years of forced labor.

Another practitioner, whose name is not available, was arrested and detained for 15 days. The practitioner was fined 12,000 yuan.

Mr. Zhang Zuohe is from Xiaobutou Village, Zhigou Town, Zhucheng City. On November 3, 2007, he was arrested and taken to the Zhucheng City Detention Center. His home was ransacked. Around November 25, Mr. Zhang was transferred to the Zhangqiu City Guanzhang Town 2nd Men's Forced Labor Camp. He was sentenced to a one-year term.

Ms. Cao Ze'e is from Xixingsi Village, Changcheng Town, Zhucheng City. On November 8, 2007, local authorities arrested her and confiscated her computer, printer and other belongings. She was detained in the Zhucheng City Detention Center. On November 25, she was transferred to the Wangcun 2nd Women's Forced Labor Camp for a one-year term.

Ms. Meng Qingying is from Jiayue Village, Mengtong Town, Zhucheng City. On November 8, 2007, her home was ransacked. She was arrested and detained in the Zhucheng City Detention Center the same day. On December 4, she was taken to the Wangcun 2nd Women's Forced Labor Camp for a one-year term.

Ms. Wang Zhongyun is a resident of Dasongjia Village, Xinzhuang Town, Zhaoyuan City. Around 1 o'clock on December 3, 2007, she was arrested outside her home. Around 12 noon, her sister Wang Zhongxiu was arrested at her home. They were both taken to the Lingnan Gold Mine Brainwashing Center.

A police officer who was stationed in the Hejian City's Third Petroleum Factory arrested Ms. Li Rujuan (in her 60's) in 2007. She was detained in the detention center of the Renqiu City Petroleum Field. She is scheduled to be tried in the Hejian City Court on December 13.

In October 2007, staff from the Xinyang City 610 Office and National Security Team arrested several practitioners. On October 24, 2007, Mr. Wu Houyi was arrested and his home was ransacked. Falun Gong related materials were confiscated. Mr. Wu Houyi and Ms. Zhou Zongying were detained in the Xianshan Detention Center.

Around 8 o'clock on the evening of October 31, 8 police officers broke into Mr. Yang Chengyun's home and ransacked it. They confiscated computers, printers, Falun Gong materials and cash. Mr. Yang Chengyun is detained in the Luoshan Detention Center. Another practitioner, Mr. Dong, is detained in the Pingqiao Detention Center.

Mr. Zeng Ming, Mr. Luo Laisong and Mr. Zhang Xinqi were arrested at their homes on April 5, 2006. Their homes were ransacked. On September 1, 2007, they were sentenced to an 11-, 7-, and 4-year term respectively. They filed an appeal at the time. The Mid-Level Court that was in charge of the second trial did not hold a trial and upheld the original sentence. Their appeal was denied without proper procedure. The practitioners are currently detained in the Futian Detention Center, Shenzhen City.

On December 4, 2007, local authorities destroyed a truth-clarification materials production center near the Zhengping Bridge of Mianyang City. Police officers arrested Ms. Zhou Xiaohua and other practitioners who were at the production center at the time. One practitioner escaped. The police confiscated, among other items, two notebook computers and several printers, totaling over 10,000 yuan in value.

Mr. Ren Guirong, Mr. Han Xianji and wife, Ms. Huang Zhiping, Ms. He Xuehua, who were detained in the Nanchong City Brainwashing Center were released. Ms. Yue Wenhua, 70 years old, suffered torture at the brainwashing center. At the time of her release, she was mentally traumatized and suffers from physical problems.

Mr. Gao Zhijun and Mr. Tan Hong were transferred to the Nanchong City Huafeng Detention Center.

Ms. Song Cuiping, employee of the Huaxi Negotiable Securities Company in Nanchong City, was sentenced to 3 years with a 5-year grace period. She was released 3 weeks ago.

On November 10, 2007, police from the Chengguan Police Station of Qingtongxia City arrested Ms. Yuan (in her 40's), a middle school teacher, at the vocational middle school in Qingtongxia City, Ningxia Autonomous Region. Her whereabouts are unknown.

In 2004, local police arrested Ms. Yuan on the street in front of all her students.

In November 2004, Ms. Bao Wenjun was sentenced to 1 year and 5 months of forced labor for distributing Falun Gong flyers. In March 2007, she sent some Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials and letters. Maigaiti County Police found out about this. In May 2007, local police arrested her.

On November 3, 2007, the Maigaiti County Court sentenced Ms. Bao to a 5-year prison term.

On December 3, 2007, the local National Security Team of Mianyang City arrested Ms. Zhou Xiaohua, Ms. Zhang Huali, Ms. Mei Mei, and Ms. Xue Deyu. Ms. Yuan Zhenxiu was arrested a few days earlier when clarifying the truth of Falun Gong in a nearby town.

Mr. Lu Songming, in his 30's, is a history teacher at a middle school in Xiangtan City. On February 4, 2007, he went to Xingzipu in Shuangfeng County, Hunan Province to clarify the truth of Falun Gong and was arrested by the local patrol team. He is detained in the Shuangfeng County Detention Center in Loudi City, Hunan Province. According to one of his relatives, Mr. Lu was sentenced to a 5-year term and transferred to Jin City Prison in Hunan Province.

Recently, the Wangsheren Town's District Elementary School distributed flyers asking students to report when practitioners clarify the truth of Falun Gong. They will pay 2,000 yuan for each report.
