Mr. Li Wolong, 45, is from Pingjiang County of Hunan Province. He was a teacher at the Forth Middle School of Pingjiang County. On July 4, 2007, he arrived at Yupin Township to expose the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. He was subsequently illegally arrested and detained at Pingjiang State Security Department. Afterwards, he was sentenced to three years in prison by the Pingjiang Court.

Mr. Li was arrested and detained multiple times by officers from the Pingjiang County Police Department and Nanjiang police stations. His parents are old, his child is in school, and his wife is mentally unstable and unable to take care of herself. Their family situation is very difficult.
