We Must Consider the Overall Impact of Our Truth Clarification Efforts: Thoughts about Making Calendars

(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, in an experience sharing meeting when we talked about making calendars to clarify the truth, an older practitioner said, "Our families and friends like the calendars that we make very much. We have noticed, however, that almost nobody dared to hang up our calendars. Some people put them in a cabinet, others put them under another calendar. We know that making these calendars uses up a lot of our resources in terms of both time and money. Time is pressing and we need to save more people. We should reconsider whether we as practitioners should put so effort into making these calendars." Everybody at the meeting agreed with this practitioner.

Let us review Master's Lecture, "Fa Teaching at the 2007 New York Fa Conference:"

"Dafa disciples' personal cultivation and improvement are no longer an issue, nor is Dafa disciples' achieving Consummation. Right now, one important thing that needs to be attended to is the matter of how to save more sentient beings, and it is something Dafa disciples are to accomplish during their current process of achieving Consummation. This is Dafa disciples' mission, a duty that cannot be shirked, something that they must do and must complete."

"Dafa disciples expended a lot of financial, material, and human resources on each year's Chinese New Year show, and the persons involved were usually core members of various projects. So if we didn't achieve our desired results, it would really be a net loss, and not worth it."

"Dafa disciples haven't been doing all of this to give ordinary people entertainment. If it can't save people after our having expended so many human, material, and financial resources on it--and it is being done in multiple areas--then it can't continue."
