Finnish Falun Gong Practitioners Support the EU Parliament for Formally Inviting Chinese Practitioners to Human Rights Hearing (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) On November 23, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners from Helsinki, Finland went to the Chinese Embassy to show their support to the European Parliament for having formally invited three China-based Falun Gong practitioners on November 14, 2007 to a public hearing about China's human rights situation. The hearing was held in Brussels, Belgium on November 26, 2007.

In the rain, the Falun Gong practitioners called for an immediate stop to the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong. They warned the Chinese Embassy not to follow the CCP regime to persecute Falun Gong and asked the employees there to quit the CCP as soon as possible in order to secure a good future for themselves.

The practitioners put up banners reading, "Falun Dafa is good" and, "Immediately stop the persecution of Falun Gong." Another banner condemned the CCP's harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and cremating their bodies to destroy the evidence. The practitioners displayed other posters exposing the CCP's cruelty in persecuting Falun Gong and read a public letter to the Chinese Embassy in both Chinese and Finnish.

Many people who came to the Chinese Embassy for visas learned about China's human rights situation from the public letter and took leaflets from the practitioners. A number of them expressed their support for the practitioners.
