Following What Teacher Said, Pay Attention to the Position of the Minghui/Clearwisdom Website

(Clearwisdom.net) Recently there were two articles on the Minghui/Clearwisdom website about Wang Zhaojun's open letter to Hu Jintao and Wen Jiabao. Wang Zhaojun is the People's Political Consultative Standing Committee member for Anhui Province. The articles pointed out that Wang Zhaojun's letter should not be distributed as truth clarification material, because the letter mainly dealt with the issue of reforming the political system and the desire of the Chinese Communist regime to remove negative things in order to protect its political system. There were only a few lines calling for redress of Falun Gong.

I agree with that perspective. Regrettably, practitioners in some areas printed the open letter of around 40,000 words into booklets for distribution. Our area also distributed some. Reflecting on the situation, I recognized that some practitioners, including myself, didn't have a thorough understanding of the Fa. We still had a human mindset, and we were strongly opinionated. This caused us to get off track because we forgot to consider the point of view of the Minghui/Clearwisdom website in dealing with the larger problems and issues.

Minghui/Clearwisdom shoulders a special historical mission during this unusual time. It collects Dafa disciples' wisdom and essential ideas from all over the world, and uses the compassion and divine thoughts of international Dafa practitioners to disintegrate the persecution and to save sentient beings. Teacher told Dafa disciples early on, "On big issues you're required to pay attention to the position of the Minghui/Clearwisdom website." (Not an official translation) From another point of view, the "position" of Minghui/Clearwisdom is also the product of all Dafa practitioners' wisdom.

As far as Wang Zhaojun's open letter is concerned, Minghui/Clearwisdom's attitude and approach was very clear. When the letter was first published on The Epoch Times website, Minghui/Clearwisdom also put out a brief message mentioning the letter and its content related to Falun Gong. Afterwards on Minghui/Clearwisdom, truth clarification booklets as well as letters encouraging compassion distributed in different areas contained nothing more than brief references to the Wang Zhaojun letter. From what I can tell now, Minghui/Clearwisdom was selectively, compassionately, properly, and righteously using only a portion of the letter for clarifying the truth. Many practitioners, including myself, weren't thinking clearly, forgetting what Teacher had said to us. We distributed the open letter in its entirety, thus diluting the important part, and spreading unwanted messages.

Fairly recently, when the 17^th Chinese Communist Party Conference was held, there was some emotional commotion and attachments among fellow practitioners about its conclusion. When the long novel The Cosmos' Calamity was published on some Internet websites, some practitioners were so upset by the story that they became hot-headed. Those practitioners should have just paid attention to the approach and attitude of Minghui/Clearwisdom. Why haven't we learned this lesson? Some said, at that time, that Minghui/Clearwisdom.net didn't seem to take any position regarding these events. Isn't "taking no position" itself "taking a position?"

The Minghui/Clearwisdom website has been shouldering the role of connecting all Dafa practitioners. It consolidates and displays the collective divine power of practitioners. If we could better follow Teacher's Fa and cultivate ourselves, we would strengthen this "big consolidated body." If we could achieve perfect coordination among all cultivators, we would become an unbreakable single body.
