They confiscated all Falun Gong books, MP3 and MP4 players with Falun Gong exercise music, and truth-clarifying materials. They tried to force the practitioners to sign the Guarantee Statement not to practice Falun Gong.
Practitioners Yue Shuli and Ms. Dong Xuexia refused to cooperate and were taken into custody. Yue has been illegally detained at the Nongken Custodial Station. Ms. Dong, who was detained at the Heping Range Detention Center in Nongken, Suihua City, was severely tortured and suffered a mental breakdown. She was detained for 50 days. She has not yet recovered, and her family is very worried about her.
