Bode, Norway: Contestant in the Global Chinese Vocal Competition Invited as Special Guest to Sing at Local Concert

(Clearwisdom.net) A Christmas Concert sponsored by the Alle Kan Synge Koret Choir was held on the evening of December 1, 2007 in the Cathedral near Bode City Hall, Norway. Falun Gong practitioner Wang Yajun was cordially invited as a special guest to participate in the concert. Mr. Wang had just returned from participating in the Global Chinese Vocal Competition hosted by New Tang Dynasty TV in New York in mid October. The host of the concert introduced the audience to the facts about the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China and the meaning expressed in two songs "Only Wishing Revered Master's Smile," and "Hidden Words Stone." Mr. Wang's singing was warmly received and the audience gave him a prolonged and warm applause.

Prior to this concert, on November 26, the Norwegian state television channel--NRK1 conducted an interview with Falun Gong practitioners and reported on the inner meaning of the song "Hidden Words Stone." The program was aired at 6:40 p.m. on November 27. The broadcast helped a wider audience learn about the persecution of Falun Gong in China and the message "Heaven will eliminate the CCP." A reporter from a Daily newspaper in Northern Norway--Avisen Nordland--also interviewed Falun Gong practitioners.
