(Clearwisdom.net) I have been through 8 years of persecution as a Dafa practitioner. I have many experiences and understandings to share with others, and have survived some very dangerous situations and tribulations due to my own imperfections. I have matured and enlightened about how to use righteous thoughts to validate the Fa and save sentient beings. Strong righteous thoughts and a solid understanding of the Fa through regular study are invaluable. Only by following Teacher's Fa well and using our righteous thoughts can we do well the three things. If we rectify every one of our thoughts, then we will walk our paths well.

I learned Falun Dafa in March 1998. I began by studying one lecture for a few days. Then I studied two lectures per day. One day I read an article in the "Minghui Weekly" about how many practitioners were memorizing the Fa, including older practitioners. Teacher said he would like us to memorize the Fa as well. Therefore, I started memorizing the Fa in March 2004.

I did not cherish my time before that. I used to read a lecture or two and did not know what to do with the rest of the time. Since I started memorizing the Fa, I put all my time into it and felt it was not enough. I was determined to memorize the whole book. I set a goal of reciting one lecture per day before Fa-rectification started. It would be a shame if I couldn't do it. I felt that everything was changing on a microscopic level as time went by. Some practitioners said that I had good enlightenment quality. I credited it to my immersion in the Fa. I really enlightened to what Teacher said,

"The Fa can break all attachments, the Fa can destroy all evil, the Fa can shatter all lies, and the Fa can strengthen righteous thoughts." ("Drive Out Interference" from Essentials for Further Advancement II)

Every day, I make time for household chores and save enough time for studying the Fa. I sleep only 4-1/2 hours per day. I get up at 3:30 in the morning and send forth-righteous thoughts every hour. Occasionally, I fall asleep even though I have studied the Fa for hours. I can now recite 20-30 pages of the Fa daily. I have recited Zhuan Falun 23 times and I am working on my 24th.

I did not pay much attention to sending forth-righteous thoughts at first. After more Fa study, I realized that sending forth-righteous thoughts would eliminate the bad stuff in my dimension, as well as disintegrate the dark minions and rotten ghosts. If we do not prioritize sending forth-righteous thoughts, not only our personal cultivation will be affected, but also the efforts of the whole body in validating the Fa will be affected. Teacher said,

Let me tell you, all those who remain and that can persecute Dafa and Dafa disciples are due to our students themselves. Students who haven't taken sending forth righteous thoughts seriously: the evil in the dimensions that you are supposed to shoulder and be responsible for has not been eliminated. That's the cause. So you must take sending forth righteous thoughts seriously. No matter whether you think you have the ability or not, you should do it. What you eliminate from your own mind are ones which have an effect within the expanse of your own body; at the same time, you need to eliminate the external ones, which are directly related to the dimensions you're in. If you don't eliminate them, then they not only persecute you and restrain you, but also persecute other students, other Dafa disciples.("Fa-Lecture at the Conference in Florida, U.S.A.")

In addition to studying the Fa well and sending forth-righteous thoughts, we have to save sentient beings. A dozen practitioners were arrested in our area from late 2005 to early 2006. This had a negative impact on our efforts to save sentient beings.

A materials production site in our area would save other practitioners the trouble of delivering things to us. We could then produce all the materials we would need. I bought an all-in-one printer in June 2006, and started copying some truth-clarifying materials. A few months later, I met some practitioners with technical expertise and we quickly set up the materials production site. I learned very quickly. I could type, get on-line, download materials, and print materials about the Fa and quitting the CCP with only some basic knowledge of computers.

We later set up a second site in our area. Another practitioner purchased an all-in-one printer to do copying, as well. We had two and a half sites for the nine practitioners actively out there validating the Fa. This helped mobilize those who were still in fear. I was responsible for supplying materials for the two sites. We quickly moved from a few dozen to a couple hundred copies. I used to hide materials in my belt. Now, I put them in my suitcase or in plastic bags and walk in an open, dignified manner. We mass-produced the notices from the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG). The authorities in our area were shocked. Those who were the most aggressive in persecuting Falun Gong backed off a bit.

Ever since the production sites were set up, I had little time left to memorize the Fa and read more of Teacher's articles. I needed to get on the web and print out articles, and it was very challenging. Now I realize how difficult it was for those practitioners running larger sites.

Every day I have dinner with my mother. I always take dozens of copies of truth clarifying materials with me. I stop at appropriate apartment buildings, and leave materials from the top floor to the bottom floor. If someone comes down the stairs, I send forth the righteous thought that he cannot see me, because I am here to bring him the truth. Whenever I go out to distribute truth-clarifying materials, I tell myself that what I am doing is most righteous and is saving sentient beings. No one can move me. I recite Teacher's poem "Expedition" from Hong Yin II, when I meet with interference.

After reading Teacher's "Fa Teaching at the U.S. Capital" I feel that I do not measure up.

"The focus for you right now is simply to find ways to do better, to be more efficient, to have a greater impact, and to save more people."

Looking back over the past eight years, I could not have come this far without merciful guidance by Teacher. I feel it is most critical to have faith in Teacher and the Fa. I have read articles from the Minghui website written by fellow practitioners, saying that Teacher will give us as much as the faith we have in Teacher and the Fa. Only if we have righteous faith, can we have righteous thoughts. Only if we have righteous thoughts can we have righteous actions, and in turn righteous fruit status. I am determined to do the three things well, even though I still have many attachments and human mentalities.
