(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 20 cities or counties in 10 provinces. In this report, 15 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 22 practitioners were illegally arrested.

From 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. on November 16, 2007, five police officers from Anqing Station in the Dongfeng District stormed into the homes of practitioners Mr. Wang Wenhua and Ms. Min (73, given name unknown, Mr. Wang's neighbor) and ransacked. Ms. Min passed out in fright for more than an hour. Police arrested Mr. Wang and took him to Jiamusi City Detention Center.

At around 8:00 a.m. on November 22, 2007, police officers from Anqing Station arrested Mr. Liu (given name unknown), Ms. Li Xianglian, and Ms. Qin Xia. They ransacked Ms. Qin Xia's home at 1:00 p.m. on the same day. The three practitioners are now in the Jiamusi City Detention Center.

On August 25, 2007, police from the Xinfu Station in the Fulaerji District arrested practitioner Mr. Xie Zhenzhou's family and put them in the district's detention center. On November 13, 2007, Mr. Xie's daughters, Ms. Xie Bing and Ms. Xie Qiang, were both forcibly taken to the Sixth Ward of the Shuanhe Forced Labor Camp in Qiqihar City. His son-in-law, Mr. Chen Shijie, was taken to the First Ward of the Suihau Forced Labor Camp.

Agents of the Li County 610 Office and police department and a government employee of the Education Bureau of the Community College (her employer) have been following Ms. Zhao Limei since September 2007. The Legal Education Office Chair of the Education Bureau, Peng Jiantong, asked Ms. Zhao in October 2007 if she still practiced Falun Gong. On November 23, 2007, they went to Ms. Zhao' workplace and tried to find any Falun Gong truth clarifying materials.

On November 18, 2007, Mr. Jin Jisen's family went to visit him in Lanzhou City Prison and found that he could not straighten his back. He covered his chest when he had difficulty speaking. There were bruises on his neck and hands. His eyes were red, and he looked so tired that he had bags around his eyes.

From August 2006 to May 2007, the Lanzhou City Administration did not allow Mr. Jin Jisen's family to visit him. The first time they visited him in June 2007, he was being helped to walk by three prisoners, was as thin as a skeleton, and hardly had the strength to talk.

Ms. Yi Shumin, a practitioner, lives in the Gangdian Neighborhood of Laopipu Village, Wafangdian District in Dalian City. At around 6:30 a.m. on November 22, 2007, Gangdian Neighborhood Administration Legal Bureau Director Su Changli (male), officer Song Mingbo (male) of the Gangdian Police Station, and four other officers arrested her after deceiving her into walking out of her home. They have forcibly taken her to the Fushun City Brainwashing Center.

Ms. Du Yaorong lives in Zhoupu, on Cangbu Street, the Xinzhou District in Wuhan City. At around 10:40 a.m. on November 23, 2007, police from the Cangbu Street Station arrested her at her home and ransacked it.

Mr. Tyang Jianpo from Langfang City has been on hunger strike for 22 months. He is extremely weak and often passes out.

Ms. Yu Peiying, in her 60s, lives in the Zhabei District. She was arrested while clarifying the truth on November 18, 2007. She has been arrested, sentenced to forced labor, and imprisoned multiple times.

Soon after Mr. Lu Jinquan was arrested on September 27, 2007, his younger sister, Ms. Lu Jinfen, was also arrested. Ms. Lu Jinfen's husband (a non-practitioner) was detained for one month.

Practitioner Mr. Xie Jinyuan is from Hunan Province. Police from the Baoandalang Station arrested him on November 20, 2007, while he was clarifying the truth in Shenzhen City.

On November 22, 2007, police from Qianqiu Station, the Domestic Security Division of the Tianchang City Police Department, and the 610 Office tried to arrest Mr. Wu Jiuping at his home. As a result, Mr. Wu Jiuping fell from the fourth floor and was rushed to the Tianchang City People's Hospital. Whether he lived or died is unknown.

Mr. Tang Chaobing lives in Gaosheng Township, Anyua County, Ziyang City. On the morning of November 19, 2007, the police arrested him on his way to Gaosheng Township Market. Eyewitnesses said five people got out of two vehicles and forcibly dragged Mr. Tang into one of the them.

On the evening of November 22, 2007, Domestic Security Division Leader Yu Hongjun (male) led four agents and one local police officer to ransack practitioner Ms. Yang Fengqin's home and videotape it. Ms. Yang's daughter (a non-practitioner) tried to stop them, but they threatened to arrest her. These officers extorted three thousand yuan from her husband.

Mr. Huang Jin from Heyuan City was arrested in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. Ms. Lu Chunyan, Ms. Xiao Meilian, Ms. Ye Lijian, and Ms. Deng Xi'e will be on trial on November 12, 2007.

There is a juvenile forced labor camp in Balizhuang Town, Qingyuan County, Baoding City. Many practitioners are detained in the Second Ward. On November 13, 2007, visitation day, the families of these practitioners had to show a "do not practice" statement issued by their employer, otherwise they were not allowed to visit.

Practitioner Mr. Ma Shuguang is a retired employee of the Number 83 Factory (a military-related factory) in the Wangcun Area of Zibo City. At around 10:00 p.m. on September 11, 2007, about eight police officers stormed into his home, took two computers (one of which was purchased for a friend), two cell phones, one micro disc, and 1000 yuan in cash. They also took 300 yuan in cash left on the table for his child. The total value of what was taken was more than ten thousand yuan.

Mr. Ma had already gone to bed. The police arrested him without letting him put his clothes on. They have detained Mr. Ma in the Zhoucun Detention Center for the past two and a half months. His family visited him several times and tried to send some clothes, but they were rebuffed by the detention center administration. The center administration told his family to pay 30,000 yuan in exchange for his release, otherwise they will have him sentenced to prison.

Mr. Zhang Weihua from the Xindu District, Mr. Jiang Yunhong (formerly an engineer employed by an air-compressor factory), Ms. Liu Ying, and Mr. Fang Dong have been arrested. The police ransacked their homes, took their notebook computers, desktop computers, printers, a large number of discs, etc.

At 5:40 p.m. on October 11, 2007, three police officers deceived Mr. Jiang Chenghua's daughter, a schoolteacher, into leading the way to find her father. As these three officers ransacked his place, he escaped. They took three computers, two cell phones, two MP3 players, one MP4 player, two salary books (one with a 1600 yuan balance, the other with 300 yuan), a satellite receiver, nine satellite receiver parts, two TV sets, and two DVD players.

Police are threatening his daughter so that she will find Mr. Jiang or they will withhold her and her husband's salary and dismiss them from their jobs.

Practitioner Mr. Zheng Zhicheng lives in Shanhaiguan District, Qinhuangdao City. He is detained in the Eighth Section of the First Ward in Jidong Prison. He is in poor health and is mentally confused due to the persecution.

At around 1:00 p.m. on November 21, 2007, two women from the community office led police officers from the Hutan Station and security guards to Ms. Zhou Xiaolin's home.
