Participants in Persecution Receive Karmic Retribution

(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they too be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

1. Tuzhu Town Residents' Committee Deputy Director of Shapingba District Chongqing City Participates in Persecution, Dies Suddenly

Mr. Chen Shengquan, Tuzhu Town Residents' Committee deputy director of Shapingba District Chongqing City, actively participated in the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong while holding this position. He participated in arresting, monitoring and harassing Falun Dafa practitioners. He distributed the CCP's slanderous material about Falun Gong and spread rumors many times to deceive people.

Even after he learned the truth about Falun Dafa, he did not stop doing bad things. He did not believe that evil is met with karmic retribution, and continued to work hard for the CCP merely for petty profit.

In mid November 2007, Chen Shengquan walked into his office and suddenly had unusual symptoms. He died within ten minutes, with no chance for rescue. He was only 53 years old. After his death, his entire body turned purplish black. Many people were surprised by his sudden death since he had been healthy. However, many people who know the inside story believe it was karmic retribution for persecuting Falun Gong.

2. Hongshan Prison Warden in Hubei Province Receives Karmic Retribution for Evildoing and Suddenly Dies

Sun Wenquan, warden and Party committee secretary of Hongshan Prison in Hubei Province has been following the CCP in persecuting Falun Gong, and detaining Falun Gong practitioners. On November 23, 2007, he suddenly had a cerebral hemorrhage, could not be revived. He died on November 25.

3. Ma Liang, Labor Section Chief of 4th Team, Jidong Prison in Tangshan, Persecutes Employees, Received Karmic Retribution

Ma Liang, labor section chief of 4th Team, Jidong Prison in Tangshan, was the main person responsible for persecuting his workplace staff who practice Falun Gong, including Ms. Li Xiaodi. When Li Xiaodi had days off, Ma Liang called her on the phone or directly went her home to harass her many times, threatening to fire her for practicing Falun Gong. Li Xiaodi repeatedly explained the facts to him and encouraged him not to do bad deeds. When Li Xiaodi warned him about the principle that good is rewarded and evil receives karmic retribution, Ma Liang did not listen, and even said: "I just believe in the CCP. I am not afraid of karmic retribution."

On November 12, 2007, when Li Xiaodi went to work, Ma Liang said, "You want to work, but I won't let you." Ma Liang colluded with Nanbao Development Zone Public Security Sub-bureau in Tangshan and took Li Xiaodi to the sub-bureau.

On November 19, 2007, Ma Liang drove his private car to Luannan to attend the funeral of the mother of Hao Baoxin (deputy chief of the 4th team who is in charge of persecuting Falun Gong). On the way back, all four tires blew out, and the car turned over. Ma Liang fractured his skull and ribs and was rushed to Luannan County Hospital for an emergency operation. The other two people in the car were unharmed.
